is it too early to get excited????[/QUOTE] Remember the last one that formed out there a week and a half ago? You know, the one that is supposed to be giving the entire east coast well over head long period swell this weekend
I give my personal guarantee that 94L will be the biggest swell producer of the year and it will be named Zippy.
I'm trying not to get my hopes up. i was watching Gordon as soon as it left Africa i was depressed ): when it turned to Europe. not to b a downer but it will probably die or miss us
I know I'm new to this forum to be bumming everyone out.. but looks like the GFS and most other models this morning have this next big storm going straight into the carib.. of course there is still plenty of time for deviation. here's hoping...
yea weathermaang, it doesnt look good but is still early, maybe s. fl. might a little bump but im not counting on it, we have to remember though, NHC upped their predictions so the question is not, if it turns on, but when is it going to turn on? any predictions when that big swell is going to hit?
gfs says its now barely going to be anything, yet SL and MSW long range forecasts still have us getting some wave action...i just want more than thigh high lol
Whatever model LOLA is using for their 14 day seems to be showing some pretty significant wave action... 28-29ft @ 11s in the outer banks on the last day of august. Obviously, too far out to be getting too excited/disappointed at this point.
thats what im saying...lets hope whatever **** theyre using tells the truth lol. it has been flat for a month straight here.
yeah it's way too early to get hyped up about it. I have no idea how many times it's been said on the forum but YOU CAN'T FORECAST PAST 72 HOURS ACCURATELY!! There are so many variables that can change these storms. Wind shear, pressure, upper level winds, etc... With that being said.....I'm just as wave starved as everyone else but goddamn yall need to chill the eff out. wait til this storm gets to our swell window before getting a hard on over it.
Morpheus and Tank are working on new software that lets you surf the f*ck out of Indo in the Matrix. I'm just not into that metal spike going into the back of my head.
If you all want an egimacated analysis of the forecast, head over to Dr. Jeff Master's blog at Wunderground: http://www.wunderground.com/blog/JeffMasters/comment.html?entrynum=2195 He updates the blog daily.
