Was I wrong to take this kid down?

Okay, I know how people feel about gopro's... I on occasion will take one out... so I had one today...
I feel like a turd having this issue with a kid, but I have to say I damn near lost my composer and chased this fcktard out of the lineup.
So, since I had the vid, here it is for all to debate!!! lol.
Im on the inside, paddle into the wave, see this kid dropping in and I yell to him so he knows Im coming down the line. he looks at me and keeps going. there is some distance but not much... he does some little fairy hack on the lip and bam Im on him.
In that instant I decide to chop is legs out and I told him if he wants to drop in on people to go to another beach (which is known for lawlesslness)....
This little **** as he's paddling back out tells me to go f off!!! lol. I mean part of me laughed but part of me wanted to kick his spaghetti armed ass into beach... which I would have been arrested for.
Now, what happened next? he left the point and went another beach with his buddy.... but really, I follow the rules... this turd is gonna have to at some point, no?

Lol, yeah I think you're right.... I mean maybe he got the message... he did paddle back over later and there were no issues.... even though I was VIBING him bad! lol...

 

I might just go down the beach right now and start vibbing big time!

 

Well I took it off and held it in my had for a few rides, then pointed it in the opposite direction for few rides... I have to say that the most boring angle is the angle pointing away from the surfer. the wave and the ride look kinda weak. I use these vids exclusively for my own viewing now but figured I'd show some blatant dbag kid collision.

No, I would have said don't worry about it and just be careful. But there is this element at this particular break now that all these new kids are trying to be aggro. Its pretty much something I've never seen at this spot and I've been surfing it for 20+ years.

 

thanks. the break, when its working and your taking off at the right spot, gives you a 30 second or longer ride sometimes... had a bunch of them today. I might take some flak for this but.... the break is really a long boarders break. Trust me I've taken my short boards there many times only to get arm burn and 5 to 10 seconds on it.
