What's with the Banner?

    I was wondering why I keep being the 10,000th visitor to this site and am told I win a laptop. So far this has happened like 4 or 5 times and its just a scam. Does swell info really need to allow this crap? It wouldn't be so bad if you actually sent me the laptop. Please be a little more selective in the advertizing that you allow. I don't mind the ads, and I know you need them, but scam ads are a turn off.:(

    Pays the bills dude.. And usually with banner ads like that you don't have control over who's ad'ing

    This kind stuff comes through the snail mail and is all around the internet, and has been for years.. learn to tune it out haha cos it aint stoppin

    What browser do you use? IE 6/7 in general is a joke. I use Firefox....It will block activeX. and you can control what pops up and whatnot.

    I have never seen a pop up ad on this site ever.

    It's IE......download Firefox it's free. You won't get them again. IE is garbage!!!!

    i didnt know popups still existed? anyway i dont want to be one of those negative nellies who like to talk smack, but seriously charlie youre a retard if you a) think you were the 10,000th visitor and then b) actually clicked and c) were surprised when you didnt really win a laptop. sorry man...

    I wasn't aware this was going on. This may or may not be from Swellinfo. It may be from one of the 3rd party adservers.

    This is absolutely not intended. I'm looking into it.

    Hey Jimmy Crack head, I was only trying to bring this to the attention of the administrater because I kinda figured they wouldn't like it going on here. If you could read, you know that's exactly what happened. By the way, I'd love to go surfing with you sometime.
