sounds about right with the boat I have in mind... 10 foot seas in an 18 foot boat. Sounds legit.

Dang it... I was just thinking that! My money is on Grandview. Sure it'll only be waist high but you'll be getting mini-barreled by yourself or with two other people. Mike's Point is the kinda place you can tell people about and still no one will drive 45 mins from VB to surf waist high grinders in the Bay or be able to find it.

You'll be like Lt. Dan hanging on top of the mast yelling "Is that all you got!?"

moving away from gilligan's island, i'm noticing this morning that swellinfo's wind forecasts & most other weather websites' forecasts do not exactly agree for my area through the weekend & into early next week. 30-40mph winds on weather websites, 15-20mph winds forecasted here. at first i thought maybe the page hadn't updated, but that's not the case. thoughts, micah?

I'd like a 3 hour tour of Ginger. I hear in her early days she was a VB Jetty grinder

I think many meteorologists are favoring the GFDL and Euro models for this storm, which has it basically being a direct hit to the mid-atlantic. I believe swellinfo's forecasts are based off the GFS, which has is tracking it much further off shore and not making landfall until it get's up in New England.

There's some nice places in between myrtle beach and topsail beach that will be just perfect with the wind direction and this type of swell direction and size.....but its a secret!!! Look at a map and explore!

Topsail south to CB will have a better looking wave than EI will...........EI north will be so hard offshore the skin will peel from your lips...........

I'm thinking of driving up there early in the AM, getting in the water and not planning on getting back out until lunch.... at which point I will have drifted all the way back to WB!
