yeah im just hoping for some small early swell before the storm gets too close...just need to get out there!
Go Saturday and Sunday if you can, then get the hell out of there. Most tracks have it going closer to New England. Saturdays looking like 4-7ft, NE winds at around 10-13mph so not bad for South Breaks Sundays looking like 7-9ft+ with stronger NNE winds around 20-25 and pouring heavily. Rain probably doesnt mean anything as theres not supposed to be any lightning, but as soon as wind gets around 20 mph, doesnt matter if its offshore or not, it becomes much harder to ride.
Anyone up for a road trip to the south Fla . leaving tomorrow? Arrive Saturday- Sunday/Monday look rock in the USA!! I'll drive!! http://www.swellinfo.com/surf-forecast/new-smyrna-florida.html
Only place on the entire east coast USA that can handle this kind of swell (predicted 15-25ft) tuesday and wednesday is RUGGLES point in Newport, RI. Period!! no discussion...forget FL, Hatteras, Outerbanks, NJ, OC...RI gets the biggest waves on the east coast period...IF you dont believe me check out Ian Walsh and Garret McNamara's video on youtube surfing hurricane Bill. If your spot gets bigger than this during the swell Ill buy you a happy ending at an Asian masage parlor. Listen RI aint the ocean state for a reason...stay the f out because the locals are prix but this place is magic and is the only place that holds 20+ swells clean on the east coast. Have fun and BE SAFE!!!
it doesnt matter how good your beach holds 20ft swells when the hurricane is going directly into you with 100 mph winds...
WB is looking pretty fun, not too choppy or dumpy at the moment. Must be due to me being stuck in the office today. You're welcome!
It is supposedly decent at Folly today. Not perfect, due to closeouts. I will be trying my luck after work.
thats bull**** ruggles dont handle that wind. this swell will be crap. thats where I go. yes if you have out of town plates they will slash your tires. I dont condone that but its true
