So did this have any negative affect on anybody or anything or was this 2.2 quake pretty much like a small fart on a plastic chair?

2.2 = a small rumble that most people wouldn't notice. We have earthquakes that size down here in Charleston from time to time. Nothing to worry about. Now, the earthquake I got to experience in Richmond, VA last year was pretty interesting. It doesn't rival west coast quakes, but still did some real damage.

Just seems like mother nature is seriously pissed off at you guys up there for some reason, maybe it was all those people complaining about how flat it was all summer?

Be careful, if things continue to go haywire up here we might all move down your way!

    Yeah, 2.2 is a ripple. The Richter scale is a logarithmic scale. A 3 is 10x stronger than a 2, 4 is 10x stronger than a 3, etc.

Awesome man, the panhandle gets waves from time to time too, and they can be pretty good. It's still the Gulf, but it shows up every now and again. Don't blame you for not wanting to go back, it looks pretty awful, Surfline has covered it pretty well and the photos and interviews they've gotten really opens your eyes to the destruction. The bitter sweet of the Hurricane Season on th E. Coast.
