Who does it? I just got back from Rincon adn I was pissing some of the body boarders off. Since when did air ejects become so controversial?
they were probably just disappointed that you didn't land on anything sharp. Air ejects can be a very very bad idea on the reef.
If you were at Domes or some crowded spot I wouldn't be surprised. I was there less than a month ago though and didn't have any problems with anybody, met several guys, some from Augadilla, some from San Juan, some from right there in Rincon, all were friendly and shared the peak with me at Sandy Beach, Pools, Antonio's, etc.. But that was my experience, then again, I didn't bother with packed crowds, there are too many spots there that aren't packed to bother with it. Not sure why it would piss them off though.
maybe its because they wanted you to do an air and stick it on that section. not just bail out. granted, i wouldnt really try to boost over sharp reef unless i knew i was gonna stick it
