Depends if the gated community is in Fla and you're wearing a hoodie.

Man, I'll take 'tards over bandits any day. The bandits tie you up with duct tape, the 'tards just eat it!

Good stuff, and amusing, some of the comments.

Just curious.....how many of the post-ers on this thread & the others have actually lived in or visited Nica....?
Like I said. Just curious. 'Cause if you haven't lived there, it's just smart-mouth anonymous Internet dumb-shiiiite posts. And I'm not even judging whether the doofus from Green Turd Surf or the other putzes who got held up are right or wrong.

Just amazing to see how many people who should just remain silent or STFU can't keep from pounding their metaphorical pud = keyboard.

And yeah....I lived there. I owned property in Iguana. Home break: Playa Colorado & Panga Drop.
I know how it is there.

Hmmm, seems as if someone is going over board in trying to convince me that Playa Colorado is the best place ever....typical bandito trickery! They get you there and then blammo! Out comes the duct tape.

I haven't been there, I was just being my smart ass self. Sorry if anyone took my word for it being "safer then sesame street" because I really don't know. I have read some contradictory info about it on here though, so my best guess is it's a safe surfing paradise where you get duct taped, beaten and robbed?

Way over this thread...let's just say this...your WAY safer with the banditos in their homeland in the Nica territory than walkin down the west side of the Windy City... May I remind all of you that we...the US...with the wonderful land of the exploited 2nd amendment, have more guns and violence than...let's say the mule driven, nature perseven, locals of a third...maybe second world country. We all are after the perfect wave. Our societies may not reflect the uptopia world...but hey...isn't that why we travel...to see what it is like elsewhere? Central America ain't so bad...but if yor scared, just say so and stay in the windy city. Your chances of getting shot, robbed, or stabbed are MUCH greater. Don't knock the latino comunnity amigos....just call your local congrASSman instead and complain about BILLY BOB shootin his AR15 at BAMBI in the woods behind ur house...lay off the Central American Community...puntas~~

It's looking like I'm going to have to blatantly point out that I started a few of these threads to mock the ridiculous smear campaign ones. It's supposed to be a freaking joke... now we're talking about gun control!?

Sense of humor folks... find it

You are in myrtle beach an *****ing about crime in the USA?
I lived in the Windy City. I lived right next to some Latin kings in Logan Square. Chicago isn't exactly gun friendly, yet they have more crime than any part of SC. I am pretty sure the only crime in SC beach communities is the occasional thief walking off with people's stuff on the beach. No banditos, no robbery at gunpoint. It ain't so bad here.

All these threads dealing with Nica and banditos is starting to get in my head! Friday AM I was out for some leftovers in OCNJ. Offshore winds and snow falling make visibility difficult to say the least. After one less-than-memorable ride, the wind blew my board back and it konged me over the head. When I cleared the cob webs, I noticed a silhouetted figure on the beach staring at me. He was wearing a sombrero and it looked like he had a roll of duct tape in one hand and a machete in the other! I was gripped in fear! What if he stands there all day and I end up a frozen block of ice that some anthropologist finds 1000s of years from now trapped in an ice flow???
I shook my head again, and all I saw was an old lady bundled up walking her dog. Damn you ErocK!
