We're getting close to 30 people in the club!

NJShredmachine: You're awesome at fantasy, why not get in our club? It'll be like a bench-off.

They key is to bone all the girls you can!

Seriously though, the guys and the girls are separate. I'm not sure how many people are going to mess with the women's division, but it's pretty much all for sheets and giggles and whatever bragging rights its worth. I don't really follow the women's tour but figured I would give it a half-assed shot in the dark.

Snapper's gonna be an interesting event with all the new faces on tour, new world champ and whatnot. I've had my team locked for about a month now. I think it's pretty solid with a mix between proven WCT surfers and young blood.

I'm going a little kamikaze on this first one--I don't have Parko, Ke11y or Eugene(mick) at the moment. It's going to stay that way unless the forecast goes to crap or once-in-a-hundread-years epic Snapper.

Snapper should be good to go tomorrow. Peaks tomorrow and stays 4-5 throughout the weekend. Shouldn't be epic, but the guys should be able to go off in the fun sized surf. Should resemble a Lower Trestles event with some barrels mixed in. Should be skate-park-esque. Rain and thunderstorms starting tomorrow and lasting through the event... Crap weather, but the swell is decent enough for a green light.

Wake up folks and get your teams locked in--they will probably close down trading around 5pm today.

Im set, even the womens team anchored by the superhot Silvana Lima...or is that Wanderlei Silva? Cant be certain. The forecast definetly changed my picks, wish I wouldve caught the trials but I was sleepin off that swim I had to take when my leash broke!

This will be the first time I've ever put two rookies on my team first contest of the year.
    Holy Toledo and Natty Young.

I caught some Junior and QS events to watch Holy Toledo surf. He's a little guy and his "power hacks" just don't have that much power yet--like Kolohe's at the beginning of last year. But man, I saw him turn crappy chicke****t mushburgers into incredible waves on many occasion which makes me think he will have an edge through the first couple rounds of the comp if they decide to run that many rounds in these initial conditions.

Same with Natty, he kills Steamer mushburgers on the regular... this will be just like home for him.

I'm not going with Park1, Ke11y or White Lighning2 in this one. May be a long shot since I think Mick will do better than the other two and is definitely the most motivated out of them too. I just think Taj is gonna do better and possibly from under the radar. The way the seeding is Parko, Kelly and Mick are going to have some really tough heats going into Round 4 if the rookies and Dane can make it that far too.

Anyway, we'll see how it goes.

I just hope Dane makes it far. I love watching that dude surf, would be sick for him to win an event.

Another lay day for the men. Groms start at 10 then they may run the first round of women or do an expression session.

I don't think they are going to run the men's until later in the week
