    East Coast Problems....

Saw overhead and semi-clean in the forecast for next Thursday when I woke up... got very excited. Started re-arranging the work schedule... Now, it dropped to flat the whole week... I knew it was just a mirage. South Carolina Problems... Good thing that I golf, albeit a sad excuse for entertainment.

Golf or go fishing, every surfer who moved here from the WC picks up either. Excellent golf courses and fishing here

Move to Jersey, lol. Here it's been pretty good since January 31st. If this swell holds up, I can't really complain.

There IS going to be a big swell coming in later in the week.. for Long Beach its going to be 6-8+ ft with 35mph NNE winds.Swellinfo is actually showing 8-10+ ft for OCMD, It just updated. Looks like a great birthday present thursday, too bad i got my road test that day.

Holy ****, you are right. It was going to be chest high on Wednesday, now flat all week. Nothing even rideable until next Saturday. SC is having a horrible winter for surfing. I am praying for even knee high days.

Yeah, rub it in. The North East seems to be getting an amazing winter. I have seen beautiful barrel pictures from OCMD every week. I wish some of that was shared with the south. Any time we have had decent swell, it is accompanied by 30 mph onshore or cross winds, which makes it almost unrideable.

Rearranging the work schedule six days ahead of a forecast swell is probably not a high-perrentage move for the east coast, or really anywhere. My guess is you knew that. Four more days for the forecast to keep changing...this storm is just now entering the pacific northwest.
