shoot, I saw a bunch of folks get denied on sunday too. I love seeing people show up for obviously the first time all winter. Saw a dude trying to knee paddle on a foam top funboard, some guys out without gloves and/or boots. Saw some aussie charge it in a kayak wearing boardshorts. I love VB.
That's insane and hilarious at the same time...there's a kneelo I see pretty frequently, always surfing solo, always on his kneeboard, pretty inspirational.
Lee, you just can't learn to ride a wave less than head high without trunkin it. Were there any missing persons reports from this weekend? "...John went to learn to surf.
