Oh yes for sure NJ is by far the best waves in the entire USA. Cali is always less consistent than NJ and screw that Hawaii place, they never get 23 footers like Jersey does.

 

This season saw a lot of East swells, too... going back as far as in the Fall. Not your more typical S/SSE/SE swell patterns. I'm sure there's some explanation for that... some kind of Atlantic or Pacific Oscillation/jet stream/storm track connection.

 

Yep, we've had more NW and SW days than usual. Nice because it's glassy, not nice because it doesn't generate swell on its own.

I'll share a story with you, you might label it a conspiracy though... when I was kid, probably older than you, I gave someone **** for getting a GED.... not even thinking about their life circumstances.... turns out I really wrecked this persons self image as I found out later on.... I looked, but can't seem to find these quality threads.........And dude, yes, no matter how much people talk bad about New Jersey they are obsessed with it. We rule regional inspired Reality TV, though rubes from the swamps of the South have been making a run lately. New Jersey people are utterly fascinating......no matter how vile and greasy some may be. Like, most people in Montana have never even heard of Rhode Island, but they know New Jersey. They say they hate NJ but they keep talking aboot it. Hmmm, that seems to be a common thread in many instances...........
