Called up some buddies and we all agreed to go surfing saturday. The forecast was looking solid it had started to increase every time it was updated. So as I usually do I just checked the 6pm forecast and now its calling for choppy. WTF, I just want some waves man. This happens to me almost every time I make a plan, why? And whats the possibility that the wind could switch again?
It's because you prematurely posted about it on the forum. You jinxed yourself, happens every time haha! Try to wait until the swell is actually here, go score, THEN talk about it.
"prematurely"? son i'm 47 yrs old. Be careful next time you come down to the banks. We wouldn't want you virginian kooks to get hurt or anything.
since I was born in Fart Bragg, I'll translate what our northern brethren was trying to say in terms you might understand. you was too early in your post about surfable waves, thus putting thwe juju on you and those around you. you're supposed to chant,"I hope it's flat. I hope it's small and choppy." works every time. Don't get your bowels in an uproar pops. unless you were born on the OBoNC, you're just as big of an out sider as normal people.
Who gives a S#@T dude. The swell does what it wants and its not revolve around you. Move to San Diego then at least you don't live in Maine. Kook.
You should sell all you boards and wetsuits and quit surfing forever. Take up an activity like bingo or knitting where mother nature can't mess up your plans. Either that or quit your *****in. Nobody owes you anything!!!!!
NOYA for the win!! Seriously, planning and surfing do NOT go together. PS--Copernicus proved that the Earth does not revolve around you so stop expecting it to.
You are 47 and post on surf forums using angry face emoticons. You plan to surf with your "friends" a week ahead of time. Then you get mad when someone answers your ridiculous posts venting about how mad. You are and threatening people you have no chance of ever meeting even if you tried. In a nut shell your life seems very very sad.
I thought the thread was about this http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q...99A2D3B35864D17B490B99&view=detail&FORM=VIRE5
lol! Yeah man, not like you guys don't all live and die by our tourist dollars, or anything. Get off of your high horse. If you live on the "banks" you know the deal, watch and wait, there will be that window of surf that everyone who has to make the drive will miss. The NE wind this weekend isn't exactly new info, or surprising this time or year. Good luck...
I had called up some buddies and we all agreed to go surfing down at the "banks". The picture thingy on swellinfo.com was green and kept going up. But then some 47 year old guy who claims he's my father said I would get hurt if I went down there. Why does this happen when I make plans a week ahead to surf?? ....it's just the most annoying thing!!!!
Actual most annoying things ever(IMO), including but not limited to: loud mufflers on little souped up cars, black flies horse flies and skeeters, ppl that trap me and continue to talk despite every non verbal cue that i have no interest, tourists who litter and disrespect the beach(or trail or whatever), trustafarians, trustafarians who act all core, people who are surprised that the forecast changes over the course of seven days...gotta run, feel free to add.
