Why would the gov do this as a distraction?
Well for one, the same day as the bombing Buah, Obama, Clinton, Petreaus, Chenney, Rice and others we indicted by a bipartisan congressional committee on war crimes including the torture and death of young children.
Secondly and most importantly so they could beta test the US public by rolling out the DHS placing an entire city and suburbs under Martial Law. Shelter in place my ass. Wake the f**k up man!!!!

They were indicted? You sure aboot that one, dude? So, they are going to be tried for war crimes? Ok, when that trial goes down be sure to let me know. And say if this really happened why would the American public have to be distracted from it? And dude, you may want to watch were you get your info from. Youtube and radical religious sites aren't the most relaible sources of info.....

Yeah, martial law is coming. It had nothing to do with the search for a terror suspect? See, there's a big difference between what happened in Boston and actually imposing martial law. People cooperated with the restrictions. A big difference. Shoot, in places like Philly no one would have payed attention to the in house restriction. Dude, America is run by the almighty dollar. Placing people under martial law isn't going to be good for business.

I am awake dude........ since 8:30 am

Looky here, I am not a full blown conspiracy dude. I also don't put anything past the government and big business. I assess each incident as it comes.........I don't automatically jump to one side.

I was making fun of religious people that blindly follow religion just because athiests cant directly prove there is no god. I would think more of you if you were an athiest, it would prove you bullsh!t detectors are at least functioning

Nahhh, not an atheist. I can understand how people might think I'm making fun of Jesus, but I'm actually not. But I can see how people would take it that way. That's just how I roll. I'm Irish, Catholic and drunk - the way God intended. But I really don't care much aboot the Pope and I find the priest sex abuse kind of amusing. I don't roll with things that man has taken over because man is a dumbarse obsessed with money and power.

So, my intellectual reputation is shot now, huh? Oh well. I can handle myself in any debate with anybody on this site, so it's all good. I read Gordon Korman novels......and John D. Fitzgerald too, so I'm extremely well read. Actually Oipaul is down with these wordsmiths too, which surprises me because he hates me. Calls me a hippy liberal and stuff, but his literary taste is on the hook.

watch these videos and look at the pictures and tell me if the people of Boston had any choice but to cooperate.yeah Martial Law is bad for business, and Boston and the surrounding neighborhoods were closed for business. people could not go to work. no business or person was compensated for the monetary loss either. total f**kin MARTIAL LAW!!!!

SJB while i agree with most of what you have to say, i disagree that the government would avoid initiating martial law because it could potentially be "bad for business". As most of you know, we don't live in a democratic state. Technically we are a Republic, but when one actually analyzes the power-structure of our government we actually are being dominated by a Corporatist Oligarchy. Sure martial law will effect the profits of the ma and pa stores, but i have a hard time believing it would affect the profits of Wallmart, phisor, gmc etc.

If anything, having the sheep in a heightened sense of fear and a reduced sense of liberty would benefit them financially. Look at how much sales skyrocket around Y2K 2012, post 911 etc. The basic idea is, keep everyone afraid, easily arrest-able, working a menial job with just enough excess income to drop on flatscreens and other crap they dont need, so they can become indebted even further with credit cards and be a wage slave to the system. Then we go into a less developed nation, take their resources, and expand our markets by getting everyone there slowly and surely addicted to plastic cards, big gulps, and the radicalization and misinterpretation of patriotism.

Im not anti-capitalist here, i believe the free market is the way to go, but anyone with even a basic understanding of economics understands that with all the government subsidiaries and stimulus, and the monopolistic state of the late stage "capitalistic" system we are far from a free market. The more power the state has, the more money their wealthy shareholders (interest groups) stand to make. I say shareholders because the US government is in all essence a corporation now, and has already sold the public down the river, with or without martial law putting the final nail in the coffin. Love america, hate our government. Just as any informed patriot should think.

Furthermore the real "business" the government is concerned with is the profits of the millitary industrial complex, which only stand to grow if war-weariness is abated by a perpetual climate of domestic fear, and martial law.

ww3 isn't coming, its already here. Look at the distribution of our troops worldwide, The entire middle east and north africa is a battleground, far greater in scope scale and duration then europe was in ww2.

i would have given u credit, but then u posted two aj links. Anything on infowars and prisonplanet needs to be taken with a grain of salt. There like the fox news of conspiracy websites.

be careful not to fall two deep down the Alex Jones Ketamene-hole, its like being a sheep on another end of the spectrum

I have to agree with you, but pictures don't lie, and mr. jones does bring to light what many do not. he does back up all of his articles with credible sources. something most news agencies do not.

AJ is a website for the mentally handicapped. That place makes everything out to be a conspiracy. As an engineer/scientist, those sites infuriate me. They take a tiny portion of information and magically whip up a huge story. Btw, pictures do lie, especially when manipulated, taken out of context, or pieced together from unrelated events.

I agree. With so much power concentrated in government, its healthy and necessary to have media outlets that question the official line. BUT when guys like AJ do it in such a blatantly lazy and biased way it defeats the purpose of doing it in the first place, and probably does more harm than good.

Really, picture's don't lie? And you're telling other people to "wake up", pretty funny...

AJ is yet another whack-job, making money off of "the sheep on the other end of the spectrum" as trev so wisely pointed out.

there's always a way to see if AJ is a liar or not. do some research on your own. his site has been on for a long time. His Bohemian Grove "Lie" pissed off more than a few powerful guy. who would have ever heard of the Bilderbergs? Just because one references info from another doesn't mean they're in total agreement. even a broken clock is right twice a day.
