In my state, there was no choice. I could tell you who would win SC before there were even candidates in the election.

Blaming the government on the outsourcing situation really shows that you haven't been paying attention to heavy industry. Almost all corporations work for profit, and the easiest way for them to compete on a cost basis is to outsource. It has been like that since modern technology and transport logistics made it a global market. As long as it is legal to buy from countries that allow child labor and penny on the dollar wages, companies will be outsourcing.

The nice thing about this country, is that I am free to live wherever I like. I picked an area that had all the things I need and want. You obviously chose wrong.

Now you are just arguing semantics of the financial world, which affect all nations. Ask the Brits how much you could buy with 1 GBP 50 years ago. We complain about the dollar failing, yet the exchange rate with Britain is the same as it was back in 2000-2001. The exchange rate with the Euro is very similar as well.

No, he sounds like another "activist" with no real long term plan. He is smart enough to rally the angry idiots, yet has no concept of tact and politics. He will just talk to a small minority, much like many of the green party candidates. His little march is, as he said, an act of civil disobedience.

Hahahaha, right. And your country is doing so well. NZ is just a wannabe Great Britain with none of the power or diversity. You basically work under a conservative one party system, which is pretty frightening in my opinion. Your country has its fair share of scandal as well. If you think you are better off, then you must not pay attention to your own news and history. How are those leaky homes doing?

Has this surpassed the bongs thread yet? If so, might be time to bump.

I've seen no gossip, only the words of Roy Stuart. You've denied this more than once. The internet is forever Roy, post and it's cemented in cyberspace for all to see.

As far as this blokes attack he is right about one thing. This is a Faciast country under socialist rule. Facisim as defined by Mussolini himself is the merger of government and corporation to rule a country. Disagree? Banker bailouts, the Monsanto Protection Act, lobbying (bribery). Again look into ALEC.

I don't agree with all your conspiracy theories but I definitely agree that the country is not better now than 20 years ago. Inflation, manufacturing, illegal immigration problems, forced health care, home prices for new home buyers without equity, rent prices, etc. My parents and grandparents saw the American dream come true for them. They now think there is no American dream and I have to agree. It's slowly going away with the illegal population and high cost of living. It only pays to be an illegal citizen getting free healthcare, welfare, food stamps and free housing. There was a time when hard work payed off but now we are just left paying for every other lazy ass.

The problem is there are only two options. When both options are ****, you get **** when you pick either one.

If there was a collective effort to support third parties than there would not be only two choices. The problem is deregulation of campaign funding. Mittens and Obama raised a billion dollars each from major private interest groups including offshore interests. This idea that we have not become a Faciast regime is not valid. No longer does the two party system represent the public.

the tea party is a third party that has gained some decent traction the past couple years... maybe in the future well see one of them elected or make a legit run at it. i like the tea parties idea because it is really centered simply around the idea of limited government which is in dire need in this country.

you are already seeing it. Smartly the tea party is starting at the local level and getting its voice on city councils and school boards. Even at the national level you have standouts like Rand Paul and Ted Cruz. Unfortunately they have to be smarter to avoid idiots like Todd Akin or Christine Odonnel

What do you mean? As Obama said if you own a small business, you didn't build that, someone else made it possible for you .
Hahaha! F****n a**sshole. This guys a dictator. Too bad the voting system is rigged. This country had a good chance with Ron Paul.

I did have hope w/ Ron Paul, even though i felt it was near impossible for him to get in.

Will look into Cruz, not proud to admit but I've grown pretty apathetic.

You may be right, but if he was elected it would have raised collective consciousness as to the standard at which what governments role is and who should really decide the fate of this country's policies. The people. It would have been a step in the right direction and would only better the cause.
