    I like how they are almost blaming the government. (well, critical of the gov) But, I guess you have to point the finger at someone..........

    Marine reserve nearby...wonder how'd I would feel if something like that were near my break. Still bummer to read.

    It's nature, nobody to blame or point a finger at IMO, cycle of life unfortunately

    someone pointed out on another forum that, in addition to the marine reserve, there's serious over-fishing going on just beyond the boundaries of the reserve, forcing (more) predators into the reserve in search of prey. reunion has always been sharky, but it seems like environmental factors are conspiring to increase the frequency of shark-surfer encounters.
