Monmouth County had some sick waves the last two days. I have some issues from combat and the USMC, and the rides I got today were better than any therapy or medication the VA has pushed on me. Thank God for offshore winds.
Glad you scored and the offshores look like they may stay all week. My two late grandfathers were both WWII vets, one (Naval) was on guns at Utah Beach on D-Day, received Medals for 3 theaters as well as a WWII Victory Medal after 28 months of wartime deployment. The other was Army technical sergeant in the Pacific Ocean Theater for 22 months and earned a battle star in addition to his Asiatic-Pacific Service and Philippine Liberation Ribbons. The first passed just over 2 years ago, the second just this past March. Their memorial dates are a week apart so starting next year, I will go to my hometown halfway between the two dates as they're buried 2.5 miles apart. Very few WWII vets left with us these days and I always make a point to thank them and listen to their wisdom when I see them wearing their cap. Thank you for your service!
Enjoy those waves, relax and unwind, let the ocean heal those wounds. I appreciate your service, it's not taken for granted.
Truly appreciate your service to our country and psyched you scored. Couldn't agree more, best therapy in the world.
