    Indeed interesting, TWC is already hyping a more active season on their website today.

    Don't they do this every year? It's good for business if they tell everybody to "watch out, it's going to be a busy hurricane season", keeps ratings high on TV and keeps people visiting their website.

    So ridiculous...was just on there and there's a "rip current advisory" for RI today and tomorrow...supposed to be 3-5 ft.

    Hopefully it'll keep them all home...stiff offshores, a couple rips=easier paddle out IMO.

    The last Chantal (in 2007 or so) hooked us up with a nice preseason swell in Maryland.

    Chantal is a good name- as well as 2007 We also got some nice early season swells from a "Chantal" in 1995. Man the summer of 95 had so many tropical swells

    The storm that gave and gave and gave! Sat and spun off Cape Hatteras for a week. Far enough out to miss the wind, close enough in to PUMP!
