Gotta love how the guy before me directs a "#usuk" post at me, yet my response is bringing down the vibe. Way to have selective reading, brah.
OK, this was really good in the hilarious sense. Emass, you gotta tip your hat to a man with a dripping quill. At the very least take yourself down from DEFCON 5, mon.
As it is Sunday morning and I've only had one cup of coffee thus far, I've yet to read the entire thread, which I will do later on...BUT, given the title of this thread, wanted to share this w/ my feller swellers...southern RI yesterday morning was suuuper fun, definitely underforecast(not complaining one bit, actually prefer it that way)...called for 3-4 plus, but definitely some 6 ft sets that came through, buoy was 10 ft at 11 seconds on my last check. Scored some of the best barrells I've had all year and a couple real clean boosts. Still buzzing from it.
weekend report update is it's totally flat, now, here, was one foot blown out virtually no swell yesterday but really good friday.in central nj,meaning, chadwick beach.how's rhode island?ha-ha.the thread is back on track.thanks to seldom seen.
Hey EmassSpicoli, first of all as a wise man pointed out to me, you don't sound very "Spicoli-like." Please don't drag Jeff Spicoli's good name into the mud. Ok, here's the tip, dude. You claim to produce viable soliloquies, and particpate in dialougue that helps you and others become better surfers. Well, I don't know about that. Stories aboot taking virgin surfers into " 7......oh man 8 oh wait 8 Foot + waves" isn't too bright. Not to mention complete fiction........ Anyways, here's the tip, sorry for going off-course, you don't get better at surfing by spending time on the internet. You get better at surfing by actually surfing. No "tip" on here is going to improve your surfing. I don't know, maybe you're one of those dudes perplexed by wetsuits or something. I don't know. But surfing improves your surfing. Internet - NON !! And really, was I a ***** because I put some reality into your surf reports? I know Rhode Island is the smallest state in the nation, and overlooked and ignored by most Americans. But Rhode Island dudes on here have serious Napoleon complexes because according to them the place is the most consistent place on the east coast. And that's just no where near the truth. Yes, I have been to RI many times, and got skunked all but once, while Cape Cod, and other places that actually face the ocean, were catching those swells. I had a thing for Rhode Island back in the day, but it crushed my dreams. And really dude, do you think 757 Surfer wants me to post aboot every existing surf report for a day in New Jersey? Well, Magicseaweed is calling it 12-15'.........Surfline 1-2'............Eastern Lines is calling it 3 foot.............Surfers Supplies won't answer my call......No, that would piss 757 Surfer off. On a side note, not only is magicseaweed's forecasts complete garbage(so I hear), but all the dudes on there are anti-Yankee twits. You guys should go bother them. Invade them. Let's do SWELLINFO a solid and destroy all the other surf predicting websites. This forum is by FAR the best. Even the dopes on here are light years ahead of dudes on magicseaweed(note no capitilazation). They all think you Americans are loud mouthed and stupid. Really, they do. And messing with roberdy is a hoot. That dude takes himslef wayyyyyyy too serious. I love all you guys, even you EmassSpicoli.
beachbreak, seldom did put this thread back on track with its intended purpose. Then my stalker hijacked the last three minutes of all of your lives by sending me another love letter. Will someone tell his fat ball and chain to feed him his damn meds?!
Yeah I'm stalking you. I'm outside your house right now.....I gots my ladder, binoculars, and my camo gear. And just to put some reality in your world. Go back and read out interactions and then decide who needs medication. You are a little bit on the excitable side, dude. Wildly making inane accusations and frothing over this.......all because I politley informed you that it was not 8-10 foot in New England. That's all I did. And aboot this thread......It's OVER. That swell is gone homeboy. It's been gone in New Jersey since Saturday morrow. And New Jersey is the only place that matters. That was for you Shredmachine............ Ok, EmassSpicoli, I'm done with this squabble, so feel free to insult away. Make a few more psycho/medication cracks ...............For those who like reading this stuff(and who doesn't, it's like The Maury Povich Show) you are welcome, and for those who are a little stuffier and don't like this stuff, sorry dudes.
Checking in from the great state of FL, Melbourne beach was thigh to chest high all day . Low tide hit around 4but the wind got on it a bit and for once high tide was better and cleaner... And now back to you from the north .
Yeah, Ft Pierce was 3-4' Saturday and high tide brought some really nice forgiving conditions for long boarding. Was a blast gotta love that May water temp of 78!
Yeah I heard all about you Shredding Betties, you all deserve the warm waters with forgiving conditions!!!
I was in Tazmania with NJshredmachine and we were getting towed into 40 foot slabs that broke over razor sharp reefs where mermaids live. We were getting towed in by Dolphins that NJSM trained himself. I was riding my 6'7 and wasnt even close to being under-gunned. NJshredmachine was just riding the mermaids. After our epic session (filmed by air, land, and sea by the Imax people) NJSM drank a full keg and beat up the entire australian national rugby team and then we headed back home. It was a solid 4 foot in RI this weekend. And it was damed fun if you could tuck in out of the wind. Big thanks to the Veterans out there, old and young. And to tie the whole thing up....
