    I agree on all counts. I may be old, but I'm not fat, and the SUP is among many activities that keeps me lean.

    And an additional bonus is that sometimes the paddle out can have its own fun, like when you paddle over a breaking wave and get some "air time"...

    I am 31 and run 4-5 miles a day. I run a 42 min 10k with ease. I am far from fat and kick most younger guys' arses in the physical fitness department. I still like being on the water as much as possible, and would be down for some SUP sessions.

    while we're on the subject...ran a 4:34 mile and a 10:08 2 mile....fastest 5k time was 15:56... in high school

    Granted, that was quite a few years ago, but multiple rounds of P90X over the last couple years, surfing,
    mountain biking, & running keep me in shape...although, i really slacked off this winter...lol...felt like a walrus a couple times out there.:cool:

    That's just a waste of time. Stop smoking that ****ty mid-grade and wake the **** up. You don't just show up at a publication company and shout out "I'm here!" You need to establish yourself before anyone in the literary world will give you a look. Personally, I think you can write a pretty decent story on the life of a meter maid. You are on meter patrol at WB, right? I'm sure you ran into some pretty thick **** over there that people may find somewhat interesting. Have you ever heard of the "Bitter Barista?" Apparently some dude started tweeting about how ****ty it was working at a Washington State coffee bar - his website title "Thoughts from behind the counter (and other reasons why I hate you)" His boss eventually caught on and fired him, but he's making bank now. He has continued his rant on his own website and he is supposedly coming out with a book soon. Something so simple, yet so interesting.

    Don't wait around for someone to give you a shot. Take the shot yourself. Pick up a heady bag while you're at it.

    the job description to the universe Pay It Forward

    already doing it man. or trying to. at this ****, with how much **** im talking about the government one of the sides is gonna start paying me first. Either the Alliance or the Empire. Either way, if big brother or brother bear is reading this, whoever sends me whatever board im riding currently, and have ridden for ONLY this surf season, in the mail you got my work, for a limited period of time. Pay it forward, i got a book in the makes.

    Its called "for the prols" and the subtitle is "read this book when youve become wasted" as in drunk with no avenue into society thats worth leaving the water.

    Which side wants it?

    I was an 800 meter guy in track. I usually ran around 2:05. I got lazy and stuck to lifting and light running in college. I had a life changing moment while living in Italy and working my first job out of school. I decided I needed to stick to being lean and fit. Stopped running ligh stuff and went back to being a distance runner. It works well to keep me in shape for surfing.

    He's the new & unimproved version of the shredmachine;
    posting inane crapola;
    nothing related to surfing;
    and threatening people on this forum with his weapons.

    Then again maybe he's just emulating the shredmachine on Pabst.

    Whether he's just stupid or just drunk, or just 16, this troll needs to go away, ADMIN.

    I think you mean Mossberg. If you really had one you would know that.
