buy at least 35x....if you can find 60x, then get that...the higher the value "x", the stronger

put it in a bowl, and take the biggest hit you possibly can, and hold it for as long as you can. if you want to get the best effects, right after you exhale your first hit, take another hit for as long as you can, and hold it for as long as you can, then exhale...i have really large lung capacity (swimmer) so two hits for me is like 3-4 hits for a person with normal lung capacity. right after you exhale that second hit, pass the bowl to someone who hasnt taken a hit because youre gonna feel it right away...

once you start feelin it, go AWAY from other people...its pretty easy to get taken out of your trip, especially if you get pissed off. if you just go away from other people your trip will be a lot longer and a lot more fun...don't let people talk to you or try to make you tweak...before you do it tell everyone to stay away from you so you have the best time you can

That is downright scary! I got into a lot of trouble drinking too much as a kid, I can't imagine what would have happened if I had access to that. Quit drinking 20 years ago and have never been happier, that crap would bring me down,way down.

Yes, it hits you right away. I was not expecting that. Immediately I was convinced there was an earthquake right after I took the hit, and kept screaming "This is such a terrible coincidence! This is such a terrible coincidence!" as I fell to the floor and rolled around. It might have been funny to my friends, but honestly, I'm not proud of it.

Almost everyone I've known who has tried it has refused to try it again (and these are guys who have done pretty much everything). Read somewhere that Congress is in the first steps of making it illegal after seeing those YouTube videos. I feel old saying this, but I'm cool with that.

Stick with the good 'ol fashion herb, or a nice bottle of Jack Daniels. They're a lot better for you.

 

dude to be honest with you its the biggest waste of money ever like yeah it might be legal and all but you can smoke real bud and still not get caught by the cops, bud is much cheaper and way better.... salvias trip is so short that its pointless to do, i had like 7 grams of 35x it was like a huge bag and i smoked like 2 g's of it then i just sold it cause it was stoopid when you have tons of ganj anyway

thats true. get away from other people. i thought i was in candyland when i did it. the atmosphere has to be right but you can control the trip. i had 1 good candyland/cartoon trip and i had a bad trip. if the conditions were right i would probably do it again. try it if you havent already for the person that started the thread and let us know what you think. its one of those things you have to try.

 

I have no current interest in using drugs to step into altered mind sets, but should the government make this illegal?

Yes, it certainly seems to screw with your mind, but is it dangerous? Are people getting hurt, addicted, is it influencing individuals and society in a negative way?

If the answer is yes, then maybe government should step in, but if the answer is no or unknown should they regulate?

What do you think?

There are sections for psychadellics (sp?) and organic highs. Salvia is still legal in NC. Good rule of thumb is, if headshops have it then it's legal (regaurding salvia anyway). It's always a good idea to check state laws though. Other than the fact that it tastes like a bag full of arseholes and makes your feel like your having a panic attack the high is really fun. I have no problem with marijuana, salvia, mushrooms, peyote, or any other naturally occurring "drug". What a lot of people don't realize is that there were dens as recently as the 20's maybe 30's for smoking opium. Hell, how do you think Coca-Cola got it's name?? I have no issues with cocaine, x, pcp, crack, heroine, acid, crank, or whatever being illegal. Maybe it's just me, but for someone to say "hey this plant is immoral, evil, and outlawed" when it just grows like that. The only real problems that stand in the way of legalization is a handful of right wing conservatives and America's "War On Drugs". We as a country have dumped SO much money into this "war" (the u s and our wars) that it would be impossible to cry for a mulligan. But this is not to say that it will NEVER be legalized. Eventually it will but it could take a decade or two. When it is legalized have an age restriction of either 18 or 21. Not only will the SELL be fiscally beneficial, but hemp has and is being used for clothing, food, make up, jewelery, and many many other things.

BUT..... I do believe that people will abuse substances. I'm not talking about potheads or coke heads. For God's sake kids are gettin high from inhaling butane from lighters and licking frogs! WTF!!! I'm neither condoning nor condemning using mind altering substances. If I did I would be a hypocrite. Just remember if you're gonna use, be smart and use some common sense. The less people are caught with it, the less of a problem it becomes.

Oh, and Chris Joyner, you are indeed right the midnight variety is a varitey of salvia but the one we're talking about is Salvia Divinirum (aka Salvia D. or Diviner's Sage)

The buzz doesn't even last long enough to paddle out with. I'll take a pre-surf blunt over pre-surf salvia ANY TIME.

While we are on the subject of meds. If anyone plays with scrips be careful and know that if you mix an opiate (percocet, oxy-contin, vicodin, etc) and a benzodiazapene (Xanax, klonopin, valium, etc) the out come could be really really bad. Know what the pill is and all the details about it before you check it out.
