BIG? I dunno about that. Looks like a guy who dropped in on me. After seeing that pic it makes me want to go somewhere else. It reeks of people ditching thier board and sitting too far on the inside like an obstacle course, Deal is Kooklvania anyway.

learn respect and know that you don't post pics with names of spots online.
20 years ago you would of had your camera smashed if people knew you were gonna tell everyone, Mr. Johnny Come Lately.

 

Deal is the spot you do name. Weather the pic was taken there or not. Everyone knows about it, so a pic isn't going to blow anything up. Every pic in North Jersey should say Deal.

Totally agree. These might be the two worst pictures I've seen from yesterday. And they don't exactly give away any secret spots.

I agree everyone knows about Deal, its just the total ethics involved. I grew up in this area and have seen Deal gone from no crowds to the go to spot for the masses from NY to PA. a lot of that has to do with the internet and forums like this with kooks posting pics with names.

 

I'm going to deal now. Hope you locals don't smash my camera bra. Surfers are little pu**ies for the most part I'm sick of everyone talking smack. You are all clowns

 

yeah me to and im going to mean mug the crowds when first going out let them know who the real charger is. paddle up to archys peak and tell him this is my wave now. no hollies allowed, head out of the water go to the bar and drink a 5th of where yall drink. go pick up archys girlfriend, then get a go pro helm cam and make nice p0rno and mail it to his house. do some doughnuts in his yard with my truck and burn a cross, my job is done here

 

I love to play in the whitewater as well as on the outside, I do not skim but give skimmers much respect they look awesome when they can catch waves. You have a lot of courage behind the keyboard, you should go to any beach except for your beloved Deal and start your trash talk in person face to face like a man and put it to the test! Go for it big man lets see what you got, step to the line and bring on your wrecking ball.

about posting pics and spot names, it not really cool to do so, if you have not learned yet. it's one thing if it's Pipe or Chope's or Trestles, but this is the EC.
after hurricane Irene a video was posted on this website of my homebreak. now during any decent swell its so crowded that its dangerous at times.
I went to Maine during Hurricane Bill. I took some photos of a rare spot firing. Cyrus Sutton who was there for an art show at the time, asked if he could use my photos for his Korduroy website. I said no out of respect for the locals. he said he understood.

I hear you. But wouldn't you rather they keep going there and not look around for new spots? Every state has there spot that all the travelers go...Lincoln or Lido, Ruggles, Deal or Da Hook etc...
You have to know where to go when it's crowded
