Oh, and one last thing SUP, that statement - that I make everything aboot myself - is just completely absurd. All of these people on this thread aren't here merely to help you, they are contributing here because they are given a platform to talk aboot THEMSELVES. Everybody has to give their experiences with changing locations. So you go scold them for talking aboot themselves.

And what did I do so wrong, SUP. I gave you a little fantasy scenario aboot Northern California and threw in some of my views aboot humanity. It wasn't insulting YOU. So why did this have to lead up to a b!tch fest? Why do you get offended because I say human relationships usually turn south? Why do you get uspet because I speak of semi-isolation in a redwood forrest? That wasn't a personal attack on you. This is, actually, really stupid.

Seems like someone thinks everything is aboot them. If you are getting upset at general opinions aboot people and life, then obviously you are making everything aboot you.

Good day, sir. Hey, get some work done and stop spending all of your work day on here. Or I'll fire you. Oh, if you move, you might have to get your urine inspected for a new job. Keep that in mind.

Hey try complaining aboot me to the powers that be. Or you could hit that "ignore" thing. Hey, you started this stuff, muchacho.

Your little story was cute and all, I really was enjoying it for the most part, but I just don't see how it was helpful in any way or relevant to the thread. I'm specifically seeking advice about relocating to the E. Coast of Florida, with my NEWLYWED Wife, you think it's good advice to tell someone who JUST got married to divorce their ole lady and become a nomad and move out into isolation? How was that supposed to help me? This isn't a BS thread where we're just slinging jokes left and right, don't get me wrong, have a sense of humor about things, but damn man, I really don't need to waste any time with fantasy scenarios that you dream up, save that crap for smoke sessions so we have something to BS about over a spliff, feel me?

See, SUP, I can not comprehend how anyone would seriously be considering advice from people on an internet surfing forum. From what I can see, all anyone said was, " Go fer it, dude."

Yeah, some people gave you housing prices, but would you really be looking for housing information on a surf predictin' website?

How can anyone's advice on here really steer you one way or the other. This is something you and your bride should decide - not Chucky from Podunk, North Carolina.

So, some dudes on here used to live inland and moved to the coast. Yeah, so? What does that do for you and your situation? It does nothing. I guess that experience is universal, huh? Whatever happened to them must happen to you.

Ok man, I'll leave you alone. Sorry, I'm just incredulous that this is considered "Serious." And in the future when you ax the swellinfo community aboot other major life decisions, I give you my word I won't interferre.

    Good luck making that decision.

It's all good PJB, no worries. All that matters is that I got out of this thread what I was looking for. Lots of helpful responses from those who have experienced what I’m about to go through, whether or not you "comprehend" that isn't really of importance. By being humble, we can learn all sorts of things from others, it's when we think we know everything and shun others from offering their advice that we foolishly take the wrong paths in life, by learning from others mistakes / successes we can avoid many of life's pitfalls.

Should I stay or should I go?
If you say that you are mine
I'll be here till the end of time
So you got to let me know
Should I stay or should I go?

    It's always tease tease tease
You're happy when I'm on my knees
One day is fine, and next is black
So if you want me off your back
Well come on and let me know
Should I Stay or should I go?

    This indecision's bugging me
    Esta indecision me molesta
If you don't want me, set me free
    Si no me quieres, librame
Exactly whom I'm supposed to be
    Digame quien tengo ser
Don't you know which clothes even fit me
    ?Sabes que ropas me queda?
Come on and let me know
    Me tienes que decir
Should I cool it or should I blow

people responded, sharing how they did exactly what Dawn patrol is thinking of doing.

what wrong with that? its a surfing forum and this has to do with surfing.

SUPpression, are you trying to say there's a party in your pants and I'm invited? Btw...it's "I'm not even mad, that's amazing." You see the trailer for the sequel? So stoked.

Ain't nothing wrong with a bunch of dudes dropping knowledge and honesty on each other and especially those bound by a common thread.

PB&J and SUPplement are primed for a bare-knuckle, no holds barred showdown. They got a lil aggro in the same way that infamous microscopic peak in Delaware was the catalyst between white rash guard dude and whoever the other culprit was. Ill be the referee, but I can't promise I won't jump in and submit both of them simultaneously with guillotine chokes. Can't help myself sometimes. No aggro, just playful primate behavior.

I know you're not slow Spicoli, but I will lay this out for all - the slow and the fast.

I don't care what people post on here. I'm not one of those Swellinfo quality control dudes who complain aboot threads they feel are inappropriate or don't meet their high standards. I don't care. I believe in free speech. The only threads that bother me are the constant wetsuit questions. Really guys, wetsuits really aren't that complicated.

I posted, my first submission aboot this topic from another angle and was serious. It gave an alternative view and scenario than the typical, " Go for it, man !!!!!!!!"

Then I thought, well SUP takes his surfing pretty seriously so let's see how serious and threw out the suggestion to leave his wife and move to the Northern California lost coast. That's all I did. That got SUP all bent.

I wasn't bagging on his thread until SUP - who jokes, makes wise-ass remarks, etc to others - got bent because I said he should divorce his wife and live in isolation. Different rules apply when SUP is serious.

All of a sudden Swellinfo.com is LIFE AND DEATH. Very serious. Of course, I find it odd that someone would seriously consider advice from a group of internet strangers some of whom can't get in or out of wetsuits. Any rational decisive person would. SUP took this thread real serious. Sorry, but I didn't.

Really, how many of you would ax advice and act on that advice from dudes on the internet? Plus, I reckon this, and other swellinfo community participation threads, makes people feel a part of something........viable. Plus, everyone loves to share their opinions, right?

It's funny how a few noble statesmen on here have this guru status, meanwhile they are probably some disgusting, soiled T-Shirt wearing, Cap N Crunch-eatin, child molesters or something. HA HA Like, if I was a chick, I sure wouldn't ax any of youse guys what "choice" I should make.

So Spicoli, you'll have to look towards SUP for any fights. That it went this way to begin with is ridiculous. And, when I'm not jumping into a verbal scrap, then you know it's ridiculous, and there just ain't nothing to scrap aboot. Having said that, all of y'all divorce your wives, sell your kids and go feral. If you don't you're not a real surfer.

PB&J - I understand what you're saying. You know I was attempted to be tarred and feathered and burned at the stake on here a few months back before I ate those feathers, washed em down with the tar, and broke that stake over my knee. I've got no problem with this thread as it's been largely full of posts that people are actually using more than 10% of their minds (and 10% of their hearts).

The wetsuit questions, yes, those have been posted ad nauseum. I agree that many to most of them are lack of common sense in finding a suit that fits like body paint (because any other is a waste of money and time to put it on) although I do understand when one seeks counsel when buying an item that there is a wide market for and can cost up to several hundred dollars much like a board purchase. But no one seems to use the search feature, and who the heck wears wet suits anyway? I ditched mine as soon as the water hit mid 50s but then again, there are probably some that will warn me of some condition like Swimmer's Butt.

The main issue at hand is your use of the word "feral". I will have to footnote/cite you as I go forth and overuse it because my use of "primate" and "primordial' is rampant and needing variety. Just like Bodhi, you know we can never be caged.

When we reunite with our original habitat, post-modern social conventions like "taxes", "nuptials", "emotional sensitivity" are foreign concepts that the animal brain is no longer forced to process when it never was capable of conceiving in the first place. In the wild, the only currency is your next meal.

Also, one never "goes" feral. We merely release the inhibitions that were placed upon our natural ferality by betas that wished to preserve themselves by collectively stripping the strong of their survival mechanisms.

    Here is my advice;

You can never over-analyze these moves.

If you are going to regret NOT going, then go. Things will work themselves out in the end.

My girlfriend and I recently moved from the east coast after home was destroyed to California. I quit a pretty good job (Quicksilver) and she left the rat race of NYC. We rented a place 4 blocks from the beach and it was the best decision my girlfriend and I made. Things slowly worked out.

Don't analyze it, just go. You won't regret it.
