Did we have the same exact weekend? Sounds like we're about to have the same week as well! Got to add some co-eds in there. They add to the stoke exponentially. Rock on, brah!

To the OP, While it's great to hear about what kind of waves people scored over the weekend, can you please stop posting so frequently. And especially these "Post your scores" threads. Dude, nobody's scoring points, it's surfing, we're out there to have fun.

Try listening, instead of puking out all your so-called knowledge, you are new to surfing, learn from people who have surfed for a long time and stop thinking you know everything. Not trying to be a d!ck, trying to help you out...although you try to come off as real intelligent with your long posts, anybody who surfs can see right through it and realizes that you are a beginner.

Just my $.02. This is not meant to be a personal attack. Happy 4th everyone. Stay off my wave!

Hey scumbag, it's no secret to anyone I'm a beginner. I say it all the time anyway. What surfing knowledge am I "puking"? I ask questions, a lot of them. Will I have commentary on surfing as well? Of course. I'm out there every day and therefore have experiences of my own to reflect on. I thank the vets on here endlessly for what I learn from them.

"Scores" are not implied to be a numerical tally and I'd think you'd know this based on your use of "what kind of waves people scored over the weekend". The point of this thread is clearly (to anyone with an IQ over 67) to have others share their positive and fun experiences during the brief instances of good summer waves we have to wait for and celebrate when they do come around. I'm genuinely enthused for everyone here having good waves and good times on such days and every day and I make that clear.

Not sure if your dog died today or something worse happened to you, but I hope everything's ok. If you're not misdirecting any tragic grief my way and it's simply a result of a piss-poor disposition on life, then you're a sad, sad man. I'll continue poisoning your eyes with my posts because I enjoy this forum and do contribute to it in different ways. It's not my fault you got picked on in childhood, and high school, and college (if you even went), and young adulthood, and today, but I'd still break your board in front of everyone on the beach and laugh in your pouty little face if you ever talked like this to me in person. Go piss into strong onshore winds, brah.

I thought your point was that I pose as a surfing veteran despite being a beginner...on a forum that's got a very easy to use "search" function to see that I am a beginner if it were ever implied otherwise, which it's not.

What was your point again genius boy?

Don't need a search function, I've been here for years.

Since I'm eager to learn new things, by all means, tell me how my current understanding of multiple swells is faulty. It's a topic I've had to look into greatly, because my beach break often has good 1st swells ruined by doubling-up from others. If I was incorrect, then I'll enjoy getting clarity on this topic since it applies to my everyday surfing. Any angst in that multiple swell post was directed at the OP who made fun of wounded warriors, and I'll never understand that.

I joined 3 months ago. And, yes, I post every day. On a variety of surfing and non-surfing topics. Didn't even know I was listed as a "senior member" as I don't look at that fine print under our headings and what would any title be worth when it's dependent on a number of posts that any troll could make? Apparently, that gets you self-conscious about any threat to your long-standing throne here on SI. Don't worry, brah. You can keep the Burger King crown on your head and scepter in your hand. This isn't a pissing or biggest junk contest, you can have those. I'm just happy to be here.

Good to see you're self-promoting. Most people aren't and it's why they're not fun to be around as they don't feel good about themselves. While not every post I make on here is sugar-coated, most of them are in good spirit. I've got a hard time believing you're a happy person when 4/5 of your posts are berating someone or something. You didn't throw a little jab my way earlier today, it was a comprehensive post judging me from top to bottom. You might like being someone else's biotch, but that doesn't fly on my end. And yes, I'll still break your board Scotty.

Fellows, please stop arguing. I'm aboot to cry. You guys need to read The Great Brain Goes to the Academy by John D. Fitzgerald. Spicoli, Koki is a man of resepct around here so please treat accordingly. He's one smooth, dude.

How aboot posting aboot not-scoring.......like yesterday. Aww man, it was just so bad. It's badness was accentuated by the decent bubs that had been pouring through in previous days. Man, I was just shootin my board towards shore. Trying to ride backwards. Pushing my board out to sea while I played Mark Cunnigham and Jaques Costeu(No I ain 't French so if I muffed the dude's name, so be it.) Chasing my board towards shore was the biggest thrill of the day. I did get a good pizza last night though.

On a happier note: Lets hear it for the water temps !!! APPLAUSE NOW..........Mid to uppper 50's in Nueve Yersey, you just can't ax for more. Like, there was no one in the water when I was oot yesterday. Not a soul. And the past week was pretty sparse considering the time of year with surfin' waves o' plenty. Me likey.

Then I guess we all good Brazos! I was never into that WWF/WWE shiz, and as SUPsMcGee will tell you I much prefer MMA & UFC. But I do like this concept of tag-team no holds barred with you and NJshred and me and PB&J because I only trust someone with as little sanity and as high survival instincts as I and he's got both. We could fight to submission and then the four of us could sit beachside and heckle the metal detector trolls (ok, all these posts bout wetsuits and lifeguards but none bout the dudes panning for gold?!).

There's a solid 100 or so peeps on my liquid lawn and I think me and my buds need to get off the porch and introduce ourselves to them. They're being quite festive with a smorgasbord of eats set up on fold-out tables. I applaud this family style atmosphere.

Koki, feel free to score a barrel of brewengineer's latest concoction and head down here. We are getting skin cancer then going out when the guards leave at 5 and seeing how much more fun we can have on 8-10 INCH (not feet) waves we did compared to the last two days.

Man, I think I might have developed the black lung from all this partying.

Not scoring AT ALL. Had the flu since Sunday. Haven't been out since Sat. morn. It's the only reason I'm wasting time on this Forum on a hot, sunny 4th of July afternoon. Was in the backyard, fell asleep in a lawn chair, and got sunburned. The whole business sorta sucks. Getting better and hope to be back out there, waves or no waves, before end of the weekend. VB H20 temps in low 70s. With all the folks in the water, the temps may rise significantly. Stay away from the zoo on 1st Street.

Since, I spent so much time underwater yesterday, I got yet another sinus infection today. And darn it I wear earplugs these days too. Head all congested since last night....thick yellow mucous. I'll tell ya.........

Yeah, man. Beers, beaches, chicks and groveling. Really takes someone strung out on stimulants for weeks to start liking those repulsive curses.

As was noted on the recent "Flu" thread, the man-made public restroom facilities are shockingly meager along this busy and popular stretch of beach (VB Oceanfront). It can be a zoo. Business owners don't want non-customers using their facilities. It's an ongoing struggle. But what the heck, "Whales and and porpoises poop in the sea, why not me?" Add to that the parking and traffic issues. I, as well as more than a few locals, tend to avoid the Oceanfront during the summer. Young people like all the action, but there are other, nicer and less crowded beaches in the area.
    ...But I'm derailing this thread.

Gawd, I hope I'm better soon!
Waves or no waves, I should be on my surfboard, not this keyboard. Damn thing's sticky and crumbs & whatnot fall out when I shake it (the keyboard). Gotta get after my kids about eating at the computer....

I surfed the "private" beach south of Croatan yesterday. Entered the water via Croatan and paddled over
