Shark week. Anyone watching. Their claiming it still exists out there. I would never surf again if a 100 foot shark swam by. God.damm
i am watching as well. all of the evidence of the megalodon looks super sketchy but yeah if i was surfing my local spot and saw that i would have a heart attack.
Possible?? Sure! Possibly made for hype to boost first day of shark week? Sure. Just keep looking for your wave, and knock on wood.
You ever seen a comparison between their fossilized next to the Great White's? Makes em look like baby teeth. Another care of an apex predator having ecosystemic challenges to maintain its dominance and survival.
You guys are dumb. It was just as real as mermaids. Watch the credits at the end and don't believe everything you see on tv.
These type of cheesy shows are scripted and performed in a similar manner with dubious experts; hazy, fuzzy, doctored photos; and commercials just when they're about to reveal solid "proof" of the existence of whatever creature that's being promoted - whether it be megladon, mermaids/mer-men, Bigfoot, yetti, the Lochnest monster, ghosts, et al. Trouble is, supposedly fact-based stations like the History Channel, Discovery, and Animal Planet are showing much of this stuff nowadays. Viewership and ratings rule. The SYFY station is where this form of entertainment belongs. Bring on Sharknado, 2-Headed Shark Attack, and Shark-topus!!
Meg only rides 23ft+ swells and hangs n Jersey where it can eat lots of hindus while having bench offs.
Uh oh, nynj isn't gonna like these references to assorted SI potpourri that he claims has expired in comic value.
The main problem I have with shows like this is if there were actually any eral verifiable evidence, or something like a sighting, we would all hear about it seconds after it happened from actual news outlets. "Tune in for the new season of 'Finding Bigfoot' where we hide out in the woods and make vocalizations, shoot infrared videos, and record areas using game cameras, and well, not actually find Bigfoot."
I think all megalodons should be culled. We're the top of the food chain and don't need to be bothered by some humongous shark.
Well considering it's size, it wouldn't be much a risk to surfers, except at a few extremely deep huge wave surf breaks. A shark that size couldnt' swim in Waist to 15 feet deep of water. It would get beached. So most surf breaks would be megaolodon free! It would be a concern for people on small boats though! I think the boats would be mistaken for a whale. haha Oh and the show is clearly fake. It's entertainment!
If a 100 foot shark swam in my area I would be afraid... if I was a whale. That would be like a Great White eating on plankton. But I sure hope that the discovery channel does not go the route of the history channel with crap television.
