It's funny, I needed to say something positive after the needless threads on here. Last nights session was old school in a heavey way. Stoeher, Tice X 2, Coffield, Sklut, White and some others...the lines were faded. Sponge or glass, there was people getting waves and all getting along with mutual respect. Waves were marginal but heavey and to much fun! Rock on gentlemen!

that was the gayest post i've ever read. why don't you just tongue bathe their balls instead of proclaiming your man love on the internet.

    Hmmm...

I am a non violent and non crofrontational person. So when I get done kicking the crap out of you I will return back to my peacefull charging. Hows that for gay? When you see my giant head paddling towards you in the lineup, get ready! I am sure you will cry for your mother.

thats the difference between riders who know and respect each other regardless of how or what they are riding... compared to the egotistical surfer thinking that he is better than others.

Some talk about soul surfing and what not, but I find that there is a lot more selfishness in surfing than the typical team sports. I am also an avid basketball player among other things, and I see much less disrespect among others when playing ball. There are some straight forward reason for this, for one being that when we are surfing we only have to get along with ourselves and the ocean. And, there is a sort of competition out there against one another to ride the best waves.

I do think its interesting how surfing breeds this sort of egotistical pride, like "I got the best wave of the day" or "I am not telling anyone about this spot". Its undeniably part of our sport, and I'm as guilty as the next person in wanting someone to take my photo or whatever. It seems as though when you are out there riding with people you know and respect then this nature diminishes and whether you are riding a surfboard, bodyboard, or a mcdonalds tray it doesn't really matter.

I have had lots of days sitting in the middle of 10 or more guys/girls and caught more than my share and had a great time. On the flip side I have had terrible days while sitting next to one or two A-holes who think they are the **** snaking me and everyone else, and making the lineup miserable. Funny how the company in the water can make or break a session. Glad you guys had fun.

LOLLLLLLLLLLLL! Is a McDonald's tray possible?!

But yeah, even though this will never happen, everyone needs to realize that we are all doing the same thing... 'Surfing'. Enjoy yourself and move on...

PS. I hit the ground harder than I have ever before that session. Wave sucked up, tossed me on my hip really bad, tweaked my shoulder a bit too -> straight up worked. Thats why I paddled in when I did.

It is my wife's B-day next week, so I told her I would take her shopping this weekend, I just need to wake her up and go early, but I am stoked I need some epic days before I move up to Newark in a few weeks.

I hate how people say "the spot" because it gets u thinking that u go to a bad place.

give me a heads up to where you end up,...please. I so want to lock into a over head session with the "crew". jason hit me up on the cell phone last week but I had to take care of some biz. I am free this time around so, even if no one calls, my ass is going to turn into a bloodhound and track all that foam down. beside, you know it is going to be a delaware show until sunday.

Speaking of which,...Micah, Brian, Tice x2, Tommy and all the rest. Please try and not stick to one said spot on Sunday. So many times some of those north spots may have the most hollow heavy lips for sure, but....longer lines sure do add much to any session. I would love to see some of you guys pulling into hollow sections that run a little farther.

Either way....let us hope that it goes off! Everywhere.
