Let nature run its course and live your life. There are risks in everything that we do on a regular basis. It's a miracle that we survive each and every single day. You never know when it's going to be your turn.

If we're going to cull anything, it should be the Megalodon. I would hate to run into one of those behemoths. Did anyone catch that special on Monday? I thought I saw a Megalodon fin the other day, but it ended up being a sailboat. Keep your feet up!

What is the exact process of seal culling anyway? Can you really look a seal pup in the eye and then pull the trigger?

I agree with most of what you say...

But GW's WILL be a major issue in Mass very soon... In other places (S.A., Norcal, Australia) sharks hunt in deep water. They wait for the seals to swim out in to the deep and attack. That is not the case here, because the water is shallow. As the population increases there will be more encounters. It may be "mistaken identity" but it can still cost you a limb.

We do kill off the human population (in some states). When someone is a murder they get death penalty or at least prison.

the same way they cull deer herds. Have a season and have bag limits and rules. take the adults only.

    ^^amen

Haha, some of you folks disagree with SharkHunter. Did you ever bother to consider his name? Just sayin...dude is all about huntin some sharks

Seal hunting? Hmm, perhaps we can treat them like we treat cows. Do they emit methane as well? Just imagine a seal burger? Probably make a good winter wetsuit as well. Its the real deal! Perhaps a seal hood would be pretty badazz like the lion and tiger ones the tribal dudes rock. Would make a nice Halloween costume.

They usually sit in prison for years and years while we pay for them to keep em alive, but yeah I see your point, it's not enough though apparently, because people are killing other people in record numbers, maybe when you take a murderer out they multiply?

statistically you are wrong. since WW2, according to statistics and many researchers, we live in the most peaceful time in human history. it's media sensationalism leads people to believe otherwise.

I think if you don't want to surf with sharks, go to Typhoon Lagoon and stay out of the ocean entirely. What's next, the jellyfish? How bout getting rid of all that itchy seaweed too. Sac up and paddle out, and thank goodness for what you about to receive. If you get bit the shark will probably spit you out, then you can go show off your scar at dockside bars and pick up sea wenches. There is always a silver lining in my book. Think of all the cool attachable accessories you could plug into a hi tech hook. Cull the morons. Leave the sharks alone!

Thanks for the update, but there have been 3 murders within 1 mile of my home in the last month, is that media or reality?

Wow I am actually siding with OceanO here!?!? but truly he is correct overall this is one of the more peaceful periods of man. Just because your local area is not reflecting that does not make it false.

You may be right (maybe), but It's not just MY area, it's all over the place, but when it happens that close to home it makes an impact for sure, I can't wait to move and get out of here, not that it's the ghetto, because it's not, but murders happen in even the nicest of areas. Don't you watch First 48?

and there prob was last month, and the one before that, and the one before that, etc. but people are simply not killing each other in record numbers (per capita or as a whole) despite what your fox news might want paranoid white people in FL to believe. of course there is always going to be little flash-points, but those aren't indicative of society as a whole. you gonna ban me now for straying off topic?

now great white attacks...those are definitely on the rise in the west. gonna be more incidents on the east coast in the next few years too. good thing researchers saying the cape cod seal population is about to crash due to some disease they have.

Yeah, I'm wondering how they're measuring the amount of peace in the world. The world population has more than doubled since WW2 so there are definitely more occurrences of violent crime. Plus, there's a pile of wars, rebellions and generally pissed off people in the mid-east / Northern Africa right now. Add to that the most economic stress since the great depression (ten years before WW2) and you have a recipe for trouble. Don't get me wrong...I feel safe as ever at home in the US, but I swear to you I would not vacation in Mexico.

What statistics are you referring to exactly, what's your source? Not that I don't believe you, but if you're saying it's fact then lets see those facts. I don't watch Fox news or any newd channels for that matter, and what difference does race have to do with it? You are missing the point that no other animal kills humans like other humans do, it's not even debateable. You think shark attacks are on the rise? Based on what, a hunch? You're not off topic, you're just off base.
