On occasion, the music business makes me want to off myself lol But I also love that it's my career. Besides weddings, I play lots of different styles with several fun and creative groups actually. I've done tours and have recordings and a tour lined up for next year. (Can't disclose who, sorry) I do it full time which gives me flexibility to surf early mornings, weekdays, when it's not so crowded. It also let me spend a week near malibu which was a mind opening experience and makes you appreciate that there are only 10 surfers on a crowded day in NJ.
Nice man, I once had a dream of being a professional musician. I played saxophone when I was younger, now I just strum the ole acoustic geetar at home from time to time. Good for you for following your dream man, stick with it!
I usually just look at the surf report, curl into a ball, sob myself to writhing agony and play along to some punxxxx music to fit the mood. Or rip the carver at the local bowl and let people try it, cause watching them eat it is almost as fun as carving it up myself.
I try to be like the Dead Presidents in Point break lol and Skydive in my off time. If anyone is interested let me know!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GqvWJKEV8VE&list=UUoIWWhidLapLJFzW2dlD07A
You mean the young man/attacker in a hoody who was procuring firearms on social media and text messaging mixed in with all the rants and posts of him doing/selling drugs?
I was able to drum up some extra cash from all the craigslisting I've been doing and just bought a fixer upper board so I can learn to do my own repairs. bought some fiberglass, qcell, resin etc... When I'm done ill have a butt ugly but watertight 6'0 cj fishy for around $130. New project!!! I don't expect much out of this thing, the previous owner beat the crap out of it and I'm not the greatest surfer. But it will be fun nonetheless.
