Anyone else see whats at the end of the surfline forecast right now? I know it's too far to get the hopes too high but I can't help but try to find an end to this flat spell

Yeah Fitz, knee high. Didn't I tell you to take a break from here and actually go surfing before commenting on a surfing site. Actually surfing is kind of prerequisite. It's 2-3' foot down here today. Again.........

And even if it was only knee high, I'm pretty sure that is where your comfort level is. You keeping busting on small waves, and acting like an el burro mas macho, sitting waiting for the next "Double Overhead" swell, but

But I'm pretty sure you aren't out there when it's even kind of heavy. You know what, I bet you that you have never even been shacked before. I'd bet my Gordon Korman novels on it.

Hey Fitz, why don't you go surf today..........You see Fitz, even surfing all of that "knee high" stuff keeps you in-tune for when those macker swells do come in. It's a lot better than playing Joe Cool and passing on everything that doesn't meet your height requirements.

Sometimes you get bad crack, but you still smoke it. You know what it is that I be sayin' ?

Really Fitz go surfing today. Man, it beats cruising around this site looking for opportunities to make wise-arse remarks to people.

And ironically all of these people complaining aboot flatspells don't strike me as types who could handle a solid swell. I just don't see it.

AND HEY ------- A TWO WEEK SURF PREDICTION !! Place your bets now........

    Hey OP,
found this little info on Jeff Masters wunderblog:
The tropical Atlantic is dominated by dry, stable air. A vigorous tropical wave predicted to move off the coast of Africa on Thursday, August 29, probably represents the main threat for development in the Atlantic in August.

You are a cowboy? How many rodeos have you been in? What, you ride bulls or rope calves? I guess that's cool, man. Better than rock climbing.(Ha that was for you, Wombat, oh calm down)

What time do you get up in the mornings? Hey, you ever go to Fox Hill? You ever sit on The Wall? Did you ever try and break through the wall? Or too many bricks........

Hey, do you know that Ralph Felatio guy, whatever his name is, or Vince Shazam?

Oh, by the way, don't call me, "Buddy," pal.
    Don't call me "Pal," friend.
    Don't call me "Friend," buddy

    That was for you, Seldom.

Hey if EmassSpicoli is located north of Boston, how come he travels to Rhode Island instead of New Hammy? I'll have to ax him that. New Hammy is the tits, dudes. Now that's a state. I caught Jennes State Beach all time one winter. Man, if you could get rid of 90% of the surfers, New Hampshire would be GREAT. Same thing for Santa Cruz.....Man, people are always ruining sh!t.

I live off 7th street, many hours are spent sitting on the cement. I love where I live. Hampy is one of the few places you can still surf by yourself when the right swell comes through. Most day trippers don't have the nuggets to surf anywhere that doesn't have 20 people in the lineup anyways.

Cow Hampshire is great and there's a good 6 or 7 breaks one after the other on the strip and a variety of different types of breaks. That said, Rhodey is south facing and gets all different swell than MA/NH with all different temps, especially in the summer. MA/NH is garbage now and Maine is hit or miss with a lot more miss than hit lately. Rhodey hasn't exactly been infallible all summer but has provided a respite from the flatness.

Hampton has undergone a metamorphosis the last two years. Forever it was Jersey incarnate and now they redid much of the frontage on the main drag. Will take a few years to process out the previous clientele, but with their attrition will also see a departure of the best people watching in the northeast. FYI, part of the Wall was crushed last winter during the storms. Jenness is good, you're right about that.
