You mean Invest 97L in the Caribbean or the one (that doesn't exist anymore) that just came off Africa? I think the first one might only be good for some waist high waves at some point.

I really had a good feeling about 96 or 98...whichever was the one that was coming right off of Africa(that no longer exists).

97L will go tropical but probably run straight up around the 65W line through Bermuda.
Unless it's a whopper (which it won't be) we will see some waist-chest high groundswell hopefully.
10-18 foot is absurd from 97L.
There's nothing really else out there to consider right now.

Ideally 97L will turn into a hurricane and go right up through our swell window west of Bermuda. Surfline premium took that possibility and ran with it. Thus 14-18ft. Dust off your Rhino Chasers and Elephant Guns, or at least start ordering them from California lol

Europe should eventually get waves from this potential set up no?
Mum is the word anyway, so shhhhhhhhut it about the swell that didn't even happen. I will hunt each of you down if you speak of these potential waves any more.

If the models are right, there is going to be a real storm that spins up over the Cape Verdes early next week and it looks like it will track almost due N. So depending on how long you're over there lee, you be in the right place.

Heard that. I'll be at Lowers next Thursday for a week. No complaints whatsoever about that though. They're scheduled to get a 4-6ft swell @ 16s the day I arrive through that weekend. Hope it holds up so KS and the others can get biblical on that A-frame. Would it be greedy to ask that the east coast swell stay until I return and well past that? We've paid our dues this summer. We can start making demands with no guilt.

lee, you headed anywhere coastal in the EU where you can score? If not, there's plenty of swallow tail to score inland. You can bask in those 31 flavors like Baskin Robbins.
