You guys who are older than twenty really need to stop getting all bent aboot friggin hurricanes. 7 foot.........open ocean swells of 10 - 18 foot.........all predicted weeks in advance is nonsense. I mean, GAWD........

Really how many times do these long range predictions actually come to fruition? What maybe, 10 % of the time....maybe........that's probably being too generous.

If you are younger than twenty, then it's ok, youse guys should get excited, it's part of the game. But you older dudes should know better. You should know much better.

And good Lord hallejujah[sic], our best waves rarely come from 'cane swells anyways. Pray for b!tchen cold fronts to sweep across the country or big lows to develop down by the Gulf or off the Carolinas. Plus, mention the word "Hurricane" in Spetember and every golfer who owns a board shows up looking to ride that wild hurrcicane surf.......

Gonna be knee to thigh high I bet in Southern NC this weekend. Calling waves a week or more out is just asking to be let down. Looks like Gabby is now gonna become a low pressure by the end of today and then tear apart before she can even get going good. Must have been all the hype on da web that scared her away.

I don't care about hurricanes. I will take anything, I am not picky. This has been the worst week I can remember in a long time. Basically a lake out there. Today may be the first rideable day, and we are talking about barely knee high waves. It is pointless to look at the long range forecast for a hurricane. They change direction too often. I am just hoping for something at all this weekend.

 

^^^ What he said, dudes, it's not happening, just come to the realization that this year we are getting a break from the hurricanes, Sandy blew the East Coast Hurricane Wad for a while, just going to have to stick it out and wait for Fall / Winter Lows and Nor'Easterns, it's almost time fellas, pigskin is getting tossed about again, grills are being fired up, beers are being chugged, wings are being eaten and fingers gettin licked, ahhhh, the most wonderful time of year is upon us, let the REAL fun begin!

And Tuesday I got it a-foot-over-knee and clean. It was killer until the tide dropped out. No one out for awhile and then it was like Romper Room. All of these middle school kids came out of no where. But they're cool. Our 12-year olds are polite and mannerly.

 

What the chattier of you can do to cure your woes is to take all the lost wages you have incurred from senselessly posing and moaning during your business hours about geologic phenomenon that's completely out of your control. That money you would otherwise be earning during said time can send you on a trip to a destination. PB&J will probably comment about Sandals resorts but you know the destination I'm talking about. You guys told me months ago to take trips and that's what I'm doing now and it's making everything fine.

Fitzy surfed with a 12 year old once. The boy dropped in on him, and now he's dead. He took a full on Fitzpedo. It was a direct hit and killed him instantly.
