    Looks like Friday is going to really suck. No one is calling for much. Not worth the drive to the beach.

    That sucks, dudes. Y'all might as well go to work/school, and those of you who are off might as well ride a bike or something. It sucks don't it, brus. Oh well, I guess y'all can pack up your gear for next summer. Sorry it didn't work out this year for the big hurricane swells.

    If you have to go, Island State Beach Park and Ortley Beach are the places you should go. It's cranking up there.......so I've heard.

    South Jersey sucks. Ocean City is gay(as in happy) and Atlantic City is dirty and crime infested. Stone Harbor is great though.......

    I'm really bummed out. Oh well.................

    Thanks for the heads up PBJ- I guess I will just go to work just like everyone one else on Friday. Its probably not even worth the short drive to check the only spot where there might be waves... belmar... so i guess its straight to work for me and everyone else. Anyways- I heard the water got cold too- time to get the 5/4 and boots and gloves out... Totally not worth it...

    Shut up!! I already had a few excuses planned to call out. Now the next swell is coming tuesday/wednesday. By the way, ever notice how SI always has something good 4-5 days out??

    I'll be in the gay water anyhow. Hopefully it'll be cranking and all you inland fools won't bother to drive in...

    I heard the water is going to be way too clear too. Best to stay out of it.

    The shark index is at about a 7 as well... Very sharky conditions

    This just in: they're calling for extra salty water all along the eastern seaboard. It's gonna be very, very salty out there this weekend, which we all know means poor surfing conditions.

    Uh, If you are off on Friday don't even check it. It's going to suck. Don't waste your time. I hear they are having a big concert, topless stripper festival in Philly. Just go to that. Just hop on the Garden State Parkway and Atlantic City Expressway and head on in to town. You won't miss anything back at the coast. Totally sucks.

    Waves today very scary. Choppy with extremely dangerous riptides. Then it's gone by tomorrow. Dang you cruel world. Probably be dangerous riptides tomorrow...like, Pacific Ocean-type of rips.

    Ah man, what's the point. You guys should move or just quit surfing. It's just not worth it anymore. Who's with me? There are so many better things to dedicate your life to that are so much easier.......less hassle. Bike riding.......rock climbing....bowling.......golf..........Brooklyn basketball games..........scrapbooking...........volunteer work.............skateboards are rad because it's never flat.

    There's a whole world out there. Don't waste your time on east coast beachbreaks...........Just imagine what you can accomplish by quitting surfing. You might get famous !! " I'm on TV.......I'm on TV !!"

    They are literally giving away tickets for Miami Marlins games down here. I would rather nail my tongue to the table than go.

    There is a full scale jellyfish alert off the beaches here. Even ON the beaches. They are crawling up on shore, and pose a near fatal sting and/or slip and fall hazard. Big purple moonies the size of dinner plates. No need to go in the water right now. They are thick as jellyfish jam. Go see a baseball game. I have some free tickets if you like.
