Ohhh good point. Yeah, y'all better be safe than sorry, so stay indoors tomorrow. Y'all defiantely don't want to be around anything dangerous like the ocean on Friday the 13th. Stay home and watch the eponymous movies. Be safe.

Totally sucks that it's going to be small and sh!tty tomorrow. Way too windy. Heavy offshores and small surf don't mix. We just can't get a break.

Wow! Looking at the forecast, it looks like it should be really fun. Waist to chest with offshores. I would go for sure. Id also call all my boys. There will be plenty of waves for everyone right? Except for shark hunter. It will be flat wherever he is.

If any of you were really thinking of even trying to get in the water tomorrow I would not do it. Server thunder storms are going to pass tonight polluting the waters near and around any major city. ( basically the whole east coast). If they do happen to miss us you have other more serious worries.

Friday traffic will be at an all time high with school in session and people back from summer vacation
Gas prices are on the rise
the fact that people think the summer is over and that they don't understand how strong the sun is forgetting sun tan lotion and getting 1st 2nd and even 3rd degree burns
there are no life guards you cant go in the water
and what about the fact of the water changing from warm to frigged. Wax companies have yet to even make a wax for our boards and this drastic change due to global warming/cooling or course.

The summer is over and so is surfing on the east coast we missed it this year better luck next summer. The best thing to do it go back to school or work make money save it go to the gym do bicep curls and abdominal machines (never legs) and ask for all new gear again this Christmas.
    or
For the very few and brave souls that think they can do blind take offs in knee high surf with tropical storm force winds I wish you the best there is a strong possibility you will be pushed out to see.

its suppose to be 62 degrees in rockaway and 25 mph winds that will make you feel like it is colder then january. The wind is to blame for everything and the internet.

I'm so bummed that surfing season is already over. For those that are interested, I've starting a petition asking for the season to start in May, instead of June. Please let me know if you're interested. Let's make this happen!

ONE MORE MONTH! ONE MORE MONTH! ONE MORE MONTH!

Bro, once the water hits 60 degrees, I'm done! Call me soft, spoiled, I don't care. If it was epic, and I was traveling to Steamer Lane, Ireland or Peru, I'd sack up. I'd probably get a wetsuit with one of those heaters in them that they use to surf the Arctic icecaps with. Been poached, baked and boiled in hot salty soup for too long.

Gosh, the hits just keep coming. Did you see the news about the colossal underwater landslide that just took place? It spanned from FL to ME, and somehow the debris flowed in toward the shore instead of away from it. It's the first time this has ever happened on Earth. Crazy. Anyway, these GIANT boulders have been pushed into most beaches creating a massive hazard for surfers. You can't see them, but they're there. If you hit one you're guaranteed to get a really, really big bruise that will hurt for a long time.

Huge outbreak of the mumps on the coast of New Jersey. All beaches are closed, don't even bother

Rats.... I just checked it... I know I shouldn't have, but I did and its flat! The only place around that has waves is belmar- 5 to 6 and offshore ... Plenty of parking too.

The water looked and smelled contaminated too - can anyone confirm???

I heard sea lice are congregating and attacking in herds now... They are swarming swimmers by the thousands!
