Hands down, one of my favorite threads ever! Your the man, Yankee...look for me tomorrow & Sunday. Oh, and I forgot.... Blind Melon opening for The Rolling Stones! That was an awesome show!
Are you a man or a woman? I can't tell, not being a smarty pants, I just honestly can't tell where you're coming from with this nonsense. Injuring people isn't fun if done by accident but when someone deserves to get their ass kicked, it most certainly is a blast to give them what they were asking for. Would you rather some dude who is in his 40's (I was 18 at the time) run around hurting teenage girls in a mosh pit on purpose, or if you saw someone doing that would you hope that someone took care of him so everybody else can just have fun? It may sound harsh but that's how things go. Dude / Dudette, that was 15 years ago. You people get too hung up on screen names, yes, I have an SUP, so what. I also have short boards and long boards. I surf em all, and I surf them well. Today I was working Beachbreak, working a job to pay for my weekend stay on the E. Coast (again), so i'll be surfing, no worries. Today looked fun, wish I was there, but can't win em all.
uh,yeah,if i couldn't grab the guy and have him arrested i guess i'd have to take him out, but, your original post did not give the details, and still,no, i don't get pleasure from inflicting pain.people are hung up on your screen name because you chose it,and most of us probably think of dawn patrol surfing, not sup-ing.i didn't realize the same pumping swell up here in nj would be in central florida where you are at the same time.interesting.i'm not a tough-guy,i don't like hate or violence, but surfing big swell in winter here is kinda tough, and playing basketball and rebounding can be a little rough, and oh,sarcoma and chemotherapy is no picnic, either.i'm just different, with different opinions about hurting others and glorifying it,but yes,if necessary i would defend you and kick ass if you were under attack.i questioned the screenname, and the statements that did not in my opinion include sounds of a musical nature.again, sorry i was cruel or offensive.sincerely.
Sooo you're a dude? I hear ya, don't get me wrong, i'm definitely not the type of person to go looking for it, but when It comes looking for me or anybody who doesn't deserve it then I'm usually one of the first to step up and defend another person in need. I didn't include the details of the boot to the face because I didn't think it needed explaining, as I was just having a moment of reflection and it was one of my many memories from the EPIC concerts I've been to, which is what this thread is about. Yes, you're right, I chose my screen name, because I really don't care what you or anybody else thinks, it's the f'ing internet! Also because I find nothing wrong with SUP's if operated correctly, like any other water craft. I don't judge others for their choice of wave riding vehicle, but honestly I barely even surf that thing anymore, I use it more for fishing and long distance paddling to stay in shape between flat spells. See, you learn something new everyday. Hey anytime you're in FL look me up, you'll see i'm not all that bad.
well,it's my fault for criticizing your post/name,plus the limitations of this form of miscommunication, but no excuse,i'm truly sorry.i happen to like some of the punk you listed
What is it about that band? I saw them a few times back in the day in Philly. The singer would get loaded before they played. I remember one show where the singer took his pants off halfway through the set and proceeded to crowd surf while singing. Dude then got two or three underage girls to blow him while he continued to sing. He then proceeded to insult the people in the crowd giving him hell cause the girls were probably only 15 or 16. Crazy ****.
trapped under ice this is hell anton rough the acacia strain the ghost inside unearth stuff like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DmwnNwx-qj4
Flipper! saw them as well in the mid 1980s with a much better opening band called SNFU. Flipper was a train wreck onstage! Also saw Circle Jerks in maybe 1986. due to a friend writing for a college newspaper, we all got to go backstage after the show and hang with Keith Morris/. Also need to Add Husker Du and the Pixies to my list. Both great bands, both missing a little something live when I saw them.
Bad Brains in like 1990 or something I was like 15 and at my first "real" show...someone maced the crowd and the band. In the intervening years I went to so many shows they've all kind of run together, esp. given my beer intake at the time. Highlights were Bad Manners, Madness, Derrick Morgan, Demented are Go, Resistance 77 and Chelsea at Holidays in the Sun, Red Alert and The Wretched Ones at the Wetlands. haha, can't believe I forgot House Of Pain/Cypress Hill. sweet.
^^^^^Robin Trower...sh!t your lucky. Had a chance to see Yes but didn't, never had a chance to see Trower god i'd would have love to see him, incredible guitarist, how was he in concert?
No worries bro, don't take my dry sense of humor to seriously either, just having fun on here, hope you get some waves this weekend
Just some crazy mo foes hahaha, didn't know he went that far but doesn't surprise me, drugs and alcohol fuel their fire, wild shows, good times though
