http://www.thehurleypro.com/live/surf/hd Starts tomorrow and, given the forecast, they will probably run straight through. I will continue shuffling my FS team, but the smaller Trestles is the more unpredictable it will be.
Get ready folks, they're probably going to run it in an hour or so. Screw grab-ass NFL, it's Hurley Pro Time! Here's my FS team: Jimmy ADS Jordy DoubleJ Dino's Kid Holy Toledo Natty Dane Raoni as alt.
Is anyone else having trouble with the site? It keeps giving me an error message. I got the feed to load once but it won't do **** now.
its not working for me either. I keep getting a "PDOException: SQLSTATE[08004] [1040] Too many connections in lock_may_be_available() (line 167 of /var/www/vhosts/thehurleypro.com/includes/lock.inc)" message
Gotta love it. The ASP can broadcast perfectly from some remote island in the south Pacific, but put a contest in California and they can't even get enough bandwidth to stream effectively. Really pathetic.
It was so foggy there an hour or two into the comp. Everyone thought it should/was about to get called off that whole time. Was murky out all morning before that but still not as bad as 10-11am or so. Was out there at 7 and started at Churches and went all the way up to Uppers. I'm impressed as hell with that whole place. Wow. So many waves breaking. Those rocks are sure shallow. Had to paddle out on the back of the board to save the skegs. Figures that the sun came out at Noon when I headed back for rest. Should be a good next couple days in that comp, KS was awesome to watch and several others. Some very cool people as photographers/spectators and all enjoying themselves. Got to meet several. Gaffer is 100% right about the last few days' conditions. If they started that comp on Thursday it would've been off the chain.
Hey spacolli where s all the pictures of your last adventures? Keep us all updated n catch a few for me.
Shoots brah, if you really want pics of me eating schitt I'm sure I could commission a photographer to get a few shotts. I'm using what little space remains on my iPhone 6 on pics with wahines in the sand down at the Hurley though. Gonna hit a spot or two north of San Clemente then head to Trestles early afternoon. No fog to speak of today! We will actually be able to see the heats from the shorebreak this time. Yesterday was wiley but great!
I think Emass got banned from Eastern Mass. He must have gotten some Mayor's daughter preggers, given her AIDsmydia or something. And dammit Emass, catch a solid one for me.
I'm on it brads. Had to get the lunch sesh in first. Is it a faux pas to wear RC baggies and XCEL tee to the Hurley Pro? Given that I'm sponsored by no one, I don't see an issue. Everyone is very cool and enjoying themselves. I'll keep you informed of any pertinent, earth-shattering events. For now, the only events have been spine-shottering botched takeoffs for me! Happy Monday SI braddahs
I got you E! Never said I'm not getting solid rides in between the human wreckage. Plenty of rights for the goofy backside. Emass still welcomes me with open arms. They actually sent me to South OC to woo swell out east, which I've succeeded in!!! Please excuse me while I apply copious triple antibiotic. That John Denver was NOT full of schitt when he said Lowers was rocky. Forgot to do so last night as we were up in Laguna chasing Lauren Conrad.
