Ive been reading the forums off and on for years, and decided to join, this seems super civil compared to some threads.

my fav was that guy with the bungalows somewhere in centro trying to stop some unhappy customer from bad mouthing him, that was one of a kind thread

PS the only things the south does right are fatty foods, college football, and skimpy sundresses....everything else is clown shoes I daresay

 

There is a huge gap, income-wise (including all the perks) and lifestyle-wise, between the overly-privileged, overly compensated politicians and the normal working guy and the American family - who often live paycheck to paycheck. How can such politicians even relate or understand what normal people deal with on a daily basis? I don't think they do. They live in a totally different world than most of us. They might start out with high ideals and good intentions but are soon turned by "the dark side". Their primary concern and priority is staying in office/getting re-elected, and helping their campaign contributors. We really should do away with this career politician policy. But despite all the complaining and disgust, the same clowns are often just voted back into office.

 

exactly why dr. ben carlson would have my vote... one of the best brain surgeons in the entire world, brought up with nothing but values.

That man is a God fearin' genius. And I respect him immensely. But sadly Genius' (es?) (esp God-fearin ones) often make horrible technocrats!

 

We do Anarchy (or at least tried to!) better than anyone else too, don't forget that sir!
