Wow, some of yall are more awesome than I imagined, I like the tone of this thread!
to see the farm....is to leave it!!!!!!!

but the secret is this...you cant tear it down....Reason: too violent and stuff
You need to build something better that renders the old system obsolete, so get to forming neighborhood and community watch and work groups!! small communities are where its at, know your neighbors, know where you food comes from

reputation will replace cash as a currency, bartering, bitcoin and gold/silver will replace federal reserve notes

Apparently everything's locked up and once they clear all the campers out the road in will also be barricaded. I guess I'll have to use the State Park for $2 a day for now, unless I can figure out where in OC there's actual sandbars instead of beach replenishment shore break crap.

Hopefully once all these old bastards in congress have died off it will make way for the new generation of thinking and doing.

They don't do anything in Congress to make things better! Everything they do is just to get their party elected, and for what? Once they are in office and their term is coming up they just do what they want and to hell with the people that put them there! That is if you believe your vote puts them there.....

The thing is, they'll never die off because they program the up and comers with the same ole thinking. The 30 something guy getting started is going to be the same as the 65 year old in there now. If you don't do it THEIR way then you are on the outside looking in. No free thinkers get elected, it's too dangerous to have someone in there with their own ideas and own vision, that type of person will want to make changes that the sheeple in Gov. aren't willing to let happen. The minute someone steps out and is different they'll get shut down with a quickness or they'll end up floating in a river somewhere.

AINP was actually open this morning and I surfed until 12pm. I didn't see anyone corralling people out or any barricades, but I did hear from the Dispatch that AI will be closed.
Remember, this is Fed gov, State side should remain open for those looking to surf.
Additionally, gates were up so no charge for this AM, even though I have a pass.

And yes, it was really really good this morning, you missed it. :)

that's the truth there. and it stayed good all afternoon. Hopefully a good omen that the first day of October was chest high and offshore all day.

I had work and other responsibilities unfortunately. But I got out to the State park later this afternoon. I don't think it was as good as it could have been with the incoming tide. But I'm not sure I like the State park as much as the federal beach.

Can anyone verify where it breaks well in Ocean City? Is like 49th street still good? PM me if you're worried about crowds, I only go out alone I won't tell anyone. :p

Well, everywhere I look its always shorebreak. Yet at Assateague it breaks well outside. Either I don't know the right parts of OC to look or its still affected by previous replenishment? I'm admitting I don't know, but any time I'm in OC and look at the ocean, and on every cam, its breaking directly on the shore no matter the swell conditions. What am I missing?

"they(our great gov't)cracked down on Hatteras I.a couple of years ago"
Ah, the fine state of north carolina. What don't they crack down on? Do you still have the right to vote or does that depend on the color of your skin?

I'm not sure what happened... it was breaking better in many places even through early summer (depending on the tide). One thought I had was that maybe with the lack of significant swell for so long that new sand wasn't being pulled off the beach to replenish the sandbars.

The truth is that voter fraud is somewhere between miniscule and non existent contrary to Repub claims. Voter suppression, as Julia referenced, is alive and well in NC, which is why the Justice Dept is suing NC over the law.

The lack of significant wave action tends to create a smoother more gradual angle to the bottom near shore, ie mushier waves. The big storms carve out the beach and move lots of sand around.

I'm with Heinlan who proposed that only people who served in the military can vote.

How about just white, male property owners as our wise old founding fathers decided?
