Ok here's a scenario for the, " I don't want no government" types

MIS-13 and BBG(Brooklyn !!) just graduated from college. Them and a couple of quirky friends decide they want to go hiking in a foreign country. They decide going hiking along the Iraq - Iran border is a good idea. Now, we'll assume they aren't recent CIA recruits, and that they are just so liberal that they fail to see the problem with this idea.

What?? What's wrong with a group of American kids hiking in Iraq?

So our heroes go to Iraq and go hiking. They accidentally(opps) cross the Iranian border and are arrested as enemy combatants and for espionage.

Now without our government they would be done for. But our arseholes in power actually try and get the kids sprung. Man, I would have let them rot. Now that's assuming they weren't CIA spooks. There's better places to cop hash and go hiking. It's friggin Iraq....Iran dudes.........Skippy, from Cambridge doesn't belong there.

Now this scenario actually happened a few years ago. And our governmnet fought for their release. I wouldn't have even done that. We always focus on the bad, but the government does some nice stuff for people. Like, if you got lost in Death Valley some official agency would come to your rescue. I wouldn't.

    Anyways..........

Ahhh !! Send me your address and a signed box of Crackerjacks is yours...........

Yeah, taxes separate you and me from your money. But you call the cops everytime something goes bump in the night. Your kids aren't pro surfer hopefuls so they actually go to public schools. You drive on local, state, and federal roads to get to Deal, NJ. You crash on the way home and ambulances come and grab you up. You get treated for your immediate injuries at the emergency room and you don't have health insurance. You watch PBS on your hospital room television.

Society, whether y'all like to admit or not, needs services. Most of you anti-gov types wouldn't even last a week in an Amish community. What? I have to burn my trash? There's no trash pick-up? Hey, where's the garbage disposal? What's an outhouse? Don't you people have sewer services? Do you all think these things would run smoothly being solely owned and regulated by private industry? I don't think so. Again, there's that assumption that people are all wonderful and generous......

Government provides these basic services to society. You gotta take the the good and take the bad.....the facts of life....the facts of life.....

And slackers are not rewarded. Why do you people think welfare is enjoyable. Hey, if it's so great, become a slacker and enjoy the fruits. Why work and complain aboot it if you can dig the vibes of the welfare life? Man, most of y'all are afraid to even drive through a "welfare community." "Lock your doors, Mildred........"

PJB, I am glad you have a gun, the way you run your yap, you need it

And you keep making ups scenarios about ‘how we wouldn’t last a week’

You have no idea about the lifestyle I need, how much farming, composting bike riding and opting out I do, its not about tearing down, its about building something better to make the old system irrelevant

Roads would be taken care of by private enterprise, local roads may have low tolls and highways may have higher tolls, there wouldn’t be a gas tax so I would be ok with paying tolls. Tolls to the people who built the roads, they deserve to be paid for their labor

If I walked a path in forest, I would pay no tolls…………make it ‘use’ based, if I don’t use it, I don’t pay
You make things up to suit your needs, for quirky responses, you have a response to everything and an answer to nothing, you truly are the least of us (humanity), you bring comedy relief, congrats, you are a clown, I am sure you are used to this by now. You openly admitted you don’t read all of our words, but you still talk smack, I guess that makes you a troll

I never said I was superior, I do however think gvt is an inferior entity that works by using violence to steal in the form of taxes. This is not a new idea, but you seem to be an apologist for the most violent entity on the planet, I guess you have something in common with them

I have faith in humanity cause I have faith in myself, you don’t have faith in yourself, hence no faith in humanity, Ive been to phl, the system in place keeps people down, do some research to see this

Whos to say what I am doing to enact change, you have no idea, (I dont want to brag, should I make a list for you? I wont cause you wont read it and you will just tear it down.....try building something, way harder than knocking something down, but you are a destroyer, not a creator) yet you make things up to try and sound cool. you are edgy, bet all the art student chicks dig you

Why would I go hiking in Iran? that sounds like a bad idea right now….I hear its beautiful, but I don’t want to go.…but then again if US foreign policy wasn’t shatting on them, they would likely welcome tourism dollars, and wouldn’t need gvt to rescue hikers

Keep trolling troll, you have some funny responses, but nothing of real value to offer

Let me see if I understand this business model^^^

Private companies build roads now and hope to get paid later by people who voluntarily use them and pay tolls, or can not use them and pay nothing for the roads.

Or trespass on paths in the woods, that are presumably also privately owned, but are owned by people who feel no need to charge you a toll for passage?

I like it...but maybe a few details to work out.

Yeah MIS-13, I have nothing real to offer. Dude, I'll slash you down in any debate. Get it, "slash?" I'm so violent.

"The way I talk, I need a gun??" Dude, are you sure you're from(lived) in New Jersey. I'm nothing unordinary when it comes to attitude in the Garden State, or Philly or New York. Actually, I'm quite tame. Hey, show me some examples of my violent tendencies? Where do you come up with that? Or is that just another thing you pull out of thin air with nothing to support it? Right, "the collective is violent." You know, just because you read some other dudes' theories doesn't make you a revolutionary.

MIS-13, do you really think that you are going to change the world? Do you really think the sociopolitical climate of the entire country is going to change to adapt to your views and visions? And you have faith in humanity, huh? I reckon you're one of them sheltered dudes who have never seen the extreme dark side of humanity. I know the type. They love everyone as long as they are middle class, somewhat educated and are "normal." Bring them to The Atlantic City Rescue Mission and their "love for humanity" turns into disdain, fear, and disgust.

Dude, you talk this talk, but where's the walk? What are you doing, besides trying to look like some utopian visionary on a surf predictin' website forum. Are you preaching to the people? Yeah, show me the list of your proactive accomplishments.

Oh, you're a farmer, and have a plan to take care of services, either provided by the government, or regulated by it? Ok. Oh, and your going to have the oil industry in your hands too, huh? Wow, you are completely delusional.

Yes, you do think you are superior. If you haven't blatantly said it your tone certainly suggests it. Yeah, I'm a troll. Oh please, describe how I am a troll compared to the others participating in this thread. Be specific and detailed. When someone has to resort to troll-calling then it is readily apparent that they have no argument....have no game.

So why don't you grace us here on SWELLINFO.COM with a detailed plan on how you would have this country run. As I said, three times now, why don't you start small, and start a commune deep in the Pine Barrens. Show me up with some actions not some psuedo-hippy BS talk.

And here we go again. Yeah, instead of saying, " I could deconstruct this and I could show you this," DO IT. And babycakes, I don't have to try and act cool. Really man, do you really think I put up some act to impress Yankee and Leethestud on a friggin internet surf predictin' website forum. Yeah, I walk around the streets introducing myself as, "Paddington Jetty Bear." " Hello mam, I'm SWELLINO.COM'S Paddington Jetty Bear.....SIR, SIR, Paddington Jetty Bear over here...." There ya go......

Oh and MIS-13, just stop arguing with me. I know you'll have no problem diffusing anything I say because I'm "butt-hurt dumb"(that's a classic by the way, real mature and intelligent, makes you seem legitimate. I heard Governor Christie is going to use that line against Hillary).

You know, greater men have preached all of this sh!t before.......and guess what........nothing happened. They all got tired of each other, and these utopian societies completely fell apart. Nixon killed the hippies, MIS-13, and Gerry OD'd.

Why don't you pick smaller battles. Changing the whole governmental landscape is a tough goal to topple. Pick smaller battles and see what happens.

So do you live out in the cane fields in Hawaii? Do you live off the land? Ha, he's probably living in some posh condo in Honolulu, financed by the family. Turned hippy in college. Blasted corporate America while wearing Levi's and Hollister clothing, while texting on his I-phone.

    Got to love humanity

You're not making a very good case for Government here or at least the MORALITY of Government. Because in your example above, you almost admit when you say " And our governmnet fought for their release. I wouldn't have even done that. ....Man, I would have let them rot" That it would be improper or out of your best interest to help these 3 hikers, even if you could. That is a valid and moral response. I believe that You as an individual HAVE NO MORAL responsibility to help someone in that situation. I also believe that it would be immoral to force someone else to help someone in that situation. It logically follows to wonder Why should our government step in to help US citizens who have broken the Law in a foreign sovereign country? Its a shame they got arrested, but it was extremely foolish for US citizens to be so far away from safety. Iranian agents didn't come to NJ to kidnap these hikers afterall. you get me?
What you advocate poses a great moral hazard. You seem glad that our Country would and does REWARD such stupid behavior by coming to the aid of people who should've known better. For anyone reading... play this role reversal and imagine the situation if the hikers were Mexican, hiking along the border of AZ and the frontiers of Mexico and were busted for some crime while accidentally on "American Soil". The situation for the hikers could be rather harsh depending on what they were accused of. say having drugs or a weapon. Would you think it would be moral or ethical for MExico to invade America or threaten us in some way in order to get their citizens back? and get them back ON THEIR TERMS and their terms alone?

PJB, noone thinks they're superior here. I am just a dude that has thought about the moral inconsistencies in everyday life and am able to articulate what I think Anarchists believe and to believe it is the most just way of organizing society. Anarchists strive to consistently adhere to the ideal of morality and the non-aggression principle. You haven't offered a position you favor other than the status quo, Which is rife with moral inconsistencies and is dedicated to interfering with every aspect of our life in the most coercive and forceful ways imaginable. You've said alot about what you think Anarchists believe and I've not made any attempt to portray you as anything other than a fellow poster on SI. You do however seem to find entertainment in portraying any view other than the status quo, as silly and not worthwhile. Should i then further conclude that you prefer and support the kind of government we have knowing full well that it is often Immoral and Inconsistent with everyday morality? Just curious. Again if anarchists believe that morality should guide us in our daily and collective life and you believe that Anarchy is a silly and immature fetish...does that mean you don't believe in morality and would rather support a system that relies on force to bend subjects to its will? Correct me if I'm barking up the wrong tree.

Thanks for the "respect" shout-out btw... and no we don't have signs like that in the South. But it hasn't been that long since we've had, open battles between the KKK/Nazi Party and Protesting African-americans here in NC http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greensboro_massacre and our last lynching was in 1981 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Donald. So yea we know our violence and oppression. Thats why Im so steadfastly against all forms of violence.

Do you have any of ypour own udeas or do you just let others "support" your arguments.

Yeah I have responses to everything but the answer's to nothing........right. I answer all of your delusional visions of college-know-it-all hippy dreams.

You haven't refuted a single thing I said. And unlike the modern tech generations I do have an attention span. However, I don't look at links people post on here. Has nothing to do with you or your theories and beliefs. I just very rarely look at links people post on here.

And BBG, my iranian hikers example wasn't aboot me. It was aboot how our terrible government actually tried to help some morons who decided to go hiking in Iraq.

And I have the answer to youse guy's problems - all of youse who hate the government and paying taxes - check my next post..........

And woof woof, Mr. Brewengineer, thanks for restoring my sense that some people live in the real world and not some utopian fantasy world. But, of course,{spoken in a snooty European accent} I would not have expected anything less from you, Mr. Brewengineer.

    I am Ricardo Montaban.

    HEY YOU.....YEAH YOU.........

    DO you hate paying taxes......?

Do you hate our government and all other forms of government......?

WELL GOOD NEWS !!!! I have just the place for you.......

    SOMALIA !!!!!

Somalia has been enjoying a community free from any centralizing government for the last two decades. A beautiful society based on common human interests and exemplifies all that is good aboot humanity.

I will help any of you little white boys pack. I will also give anyone leaving a box of Crackerjacks as a parting gift. Oh, you may want to convert to Isalm if you are going. I know, I know, most anti-government, new-age types don't believe in a diety, but trust me, this will go a long way over there. Hey, a small price to pay for complete freedom.

Also, you can look at the Tribal areas of Pakistan if Somalia don't do it for you. If these places are a little too much of a culture shock, I hear the area of 6th & St. Julian in downtown Los Angeles has a smaller version of a wayward society free from "The Man."

    Good luck, dudes !!! And.....ALLAHU AKBAR !!!
