Fo reals...haven't seen that, The Hangover 1/2/3, the f**ken movie about babies, or a hundred or so of the other recent movies people ask me about that I have minimal interest to see. And I don't feel that I have diminished the quality of my life experience by missing such things.

 

Well, you've at least diminished your enjoyment of 1,000 or so SI posts from many members that have ever so subtle or fairly direct references to a few immortal movies like The Legend of Ron Burgundy. And it's not even in the same universe as the Hangover "trilogy", so if you find a couple hours of time in the near future you'd enjoy watching Ron. Not saying you need to go out and buy out the Blockbuster Video warehouses of the stores that went under, but there are a handful of flicks anyone with a sense of humor can't do without. That's one of them.

Glad we've cleared that up, as you seemed very concerned with a post that I was saying my piss was actually that good. But then again, Chris Robinson was forced to drink his own piss in This Is The End and according to him, "it wasn't that bad!!"

Yeah, sponge biter. You're right. Most kooks that start surfing go at it with the fervor I have. They make their progress and commitment a daily thing. They also commit to long-distance travel on multiple occasions when local swell is no longer conducive to sessions, fun and improvement due to perpetual flatness. All of those are typical of the one-and-done, flash-in-the-pan kooks, right?

As for knowledge, there can never be enough. I always have a thirst for more. Don't act like I've got nothing to offer, because if one hangs around these parts long enough, they're bound to absorb a fair amount of intel from the many damn-near legends or at least skilled vets that come and go and hopefully stay on SI.

Maybe I blacked out (Old School ref!) the recent times you think I was edumacating people on things you feel I'm a kook in, but last I checked, the vast majority of my posts were having fun with the mindless classic SI threads of late, or throwing up a creative satire thread that commonly gets props and thanks by several, or giving props and thanks to the many valuable posts on here like LBCrew and any of the cats putting up good info on the SoCal-type threads.

I mean, I'm not saying there aren't movies I enjoy, it's just I always feel like that guy who always says no when ppl say, hey did you see that movie? I think the last movie I went out of my way to see was No Country for Old Men. Obviously love me some Lebowski.
