    Um no.

    reputable
    ˈrɛpjʊtəb(ə)l/
    adjective
    adjective: reputable

    1.
    having a good reputation.

Good reputation comes from decades of shape refining.

Reputation is not a design element.

Do you have any other part of the brain which you can use apart from the social?

wow and I thought PBJ was incoherent, this circular non-logic is truly outstanding.

just want to see the board turn

It's a losing battle man. Both the wood gnomes only ride straight and never turn. Both Roy and Charlie just do not understand that 99.9% of SI will never agree with them no matter how many stupid arguments Roy tries to put up and no matter how many time Charlie Brown slaps his dummy in the ears.

No it is not but it is earned by either
    1. Designing a good board
    2. Being a forum douche
You sir earned your reputation by doing the second

Also I found a pic of Roy and Charles:

Don't be a ****. You know exactly what I am talking about. If your design doesn't work , that design will be seen as poor. Yes, in this case a design can have a reputation. Please, stop trying to draw attention away from your rude and egotistical comments.

Half a dozen trolls do not a reputation make.

I'm merely pointing out that you have once again strayed into the dim world of vibe, rather than addressing the subject matter directly.

Analysing my design and performance comments using such methods is a waste of time, as there is little or no emotional content in them,.

But being a cryptic talking, wood board building New Zeland moron spewing crap on intraweb froums does a reputation make. Now you have made your bed go lie in it dip sh!t, and please take Charlie with you.

Maybe not emotions, but lots of imagination. Only in ones mind could one claim to build the best of something before seeing and experiencing all that could be compared to that thing.

    Correction: straight talking.

Point of order: place of residence is irrelevant.

correction: highly intelligent and articulate person

Correction: no vomiting has occurred, information posted has a high truth and relevance content.

You appear to be grossly overestimating the importance of your opinion upon its subject. In short your opinion matters not except as a mild exercise in answering illogical overemotional diatribes.

Your imagination has created a misrepresentation of my position.

Try thinking about the physics of the matter instead, and see if that helps.

Roy are you a naval architect? instead of having us THINK about the physics, post the formulas and diagrams demonstrating why your board is better. It would be great to see the quantification of such a qualitative and subjective matter.

I understand if you dont answer this as it is straightforward and nowhere for you to run and hide behind a 'smokeshow' (lookn at you chuckie) of cryptic phrases and nonlogic

also, you dosed yourself pretty hard back in the day huh? still getting trails when things go by too fast?

I am looking at this with an open mind, Id even like to try your board if I didn't have to take out a mortgage, but......do you read your posts as a neutral observer? or just a giant dripping ego?

Carter you seem to take a very personal, angry and butt hurt attitude towards this thread. What gives ? I'm only sharing a build and ride report for the entire world to view if they so please. That's all I'm doing and I'm being 100% honest the whole way. I'm a bit bothered by all the really gay stuff you post on here.

    Here's an anecdote for you:

recently I've been in discussion with a group who are developing 3d printing software and a global manufacturing and distribution network for surfboards which is new in many respects. the group includes paul who is a top financial analyst with a Phd in mechanical engineering plus five other well qualified engineers. During the course of the discussion Paul; mentioned surfboard flex. i said that i'd been working on it since 1994 and that the flex assumptions which are widely used in surfboard marketing these days are fundamentally incorrect in several important respects, due to ignorance of pressure distribution under the hull and misunderstanding of rider input in terms of load. I said that the upshot of this is that in reality the flex is usually a) much less than claimed to the point of being insignificant and b) in the opposite direction to that which is supposed. Paul replied that what i said is interesting because their team had just spent months computer modelling surfboard flex and had come to exactly the same conclusion.

I have no formal qualification in Naval Architecture, but have been a student of it and related disciplines for the past 40 years.

Therein lies your problem... diagrams and formulae are meaningless and cannot even be created without prior and subsequent thought.

If you wish to gain insights then you will have to 'think about physics' as there is simply no other way.

There might be a few retards who will find your statement above to be impressive and/or amusing, but to those of us who actually think above the belly button level all you are doing is making a fool of yourself, as most of your posts contain serious logical errors to the point of being cringeworthy.
