It seems like paddling for hours would be hard with all that beefy muscle charly has to feed with oxygen

Mad atom my Maine man. I have this latex figure for hitting, I've had it for a few years now. It's really fun actually. I have had no proper training in striking, my martial arts skills are in judo really, but hitting big rick (latex mans name) is a great work out

I can paddle for hours. Immense upper back, shoulder and chest strength affords me many hours in the surf zone with little if any fatigue. All surfers should work their upper back, shoulders and chest. Biceps not as much but a well rounded physique is ideal. Also I focus on one legged squats, those help my surfing so much.

    Do tell, chucka-boo-boo, do tell....

And, inquiring minds want to know...tell us how much your fat arse goes on the bench-off? At least 425, right?! If not, the Shredmachine is gonna call you out as chucka-toast-toast!

I'm thinking of changing your name, chucka-boo-boo....how about the mad clownie?

What in the world of surfing does anything you post have to do with surfing? Nada. Violence, threatening people, jizzing on your latex dummies...haven't seen your dog in awhile, chucka-toast-toast, is he busy ramrodding your smokestack bacon woman?

    Ban the chucka-troll.

C'mon, sparky, post your vids of that beefy smokehouse side of bacon woman of yours taking your sonic butt slaps in her cheeks while you gyrate in your hula hoop & scream my name! As only the master, the boo-boo, the toast-toast can doooooooo!

What's my name boo-boo-troll?! What's my name?! Scream it as you sonic clap your beefy cupcake under your poster of Ted Bundy!

You guys are idiots. You want to be as thick as possible to surf. Thin guys can't surf! Look at every pro in the world

you look like that dingus beard guy with the longboard who sits way outside (cuz he only catches the big waves) and who paddles for every wave and doesnt catch anything and you just end up paddling to another peak bc you hate his face so much

Muscle mass is inefficient for surfing, especially paddling for long periods of time. You would honestly paddle faster and longer if you reduced the fat and muscle mass. I was once 5'8" and 190 lbs. I could bench 305, but I was a slow swimmer and runner. I gained all the mass lifting during my college years. It is really a waste if you are devoting a lot of time to surfing.

BODYWEIGHT relative to strength can be inefficient after a certain point. Saying muscle mass is inefficient for surfing is not very accurate. I understand what you're saying, though, but there's a limit to its accuracy. I also used to be a brick schitt house and now am much, much more svelte and athletic. 5'10 175 lean and I contemplate getting down under 170 to see if that improves my surfing versatility. Being muscular within reason to your body frame is definitely beneficial to your surfing athleticism. Fat beyond 8-10% of body mass is definitely holding you back, you can say that a lot more than muscle holding you back. And yes, there are plenty of surfers out there with more day that can shred, so no one needs to go and get all technical.

Well, I tend separate muscle mass and lean muscle in two different categories. Lean muscle is always good to have. Muscle mass (just muscle built on heavy lifting alone with a fair amount of fat) is not a good thing to have in endurance based sports. Chucky seems to have a fair amount of fat on top of the muscle, thus his bulky look and lack of definition. I never said it will prevent you from surfing, but it does hold you back. I prefer to keep my workouts based around leaning out. Run long distances, lots of push-ups, situps, leg lifts, pull-ups, and some light shoulder work. I am certainly not as lean as I could be, but I do feel a hell of a lot better than I did when I was heavy lifting.
This could spawn the Chuck-SI weightloss challenge. Nerdy training videos set to the Eye of the Tiger song.

Laird is thick. G Mac is built. Kelly is fighter ripped. Charles is like the laird of the north east.

I can bench 350. I weigh 218. I'll prove it. My paddling is endless.
