Other than the obvious links and contacts on the surfrider chapter websites, is anyone on here affiliated with the local surfrider chapters in Delmarva? My dad is retired and lives in Bethany. He is working with a local guy there doing some kind of surfing charity work and lineup-etiquette training for kids. I told him he should probably get in contact with the foundation if they are looking for ideas or support. Any advise aside from the standard contacts on the website?
Zach, I can tell you that the best thing for your father to do would just be to show up at the next DE SRF meeting, ask to talk about his project/ideas for a couple minutes, and see whether there is an opportuity for the DE Chapter to support or collaborate. The meetings are generally once a month on the second Tuesday evening from 6:30 - 8:00. I'm not sure of the exact location, because it has changed a couple of times, but it is always somewhere in the Lewes-Rehoboth area. He could e-mail: chair@delaware.surfrider.org
