Didn't watch it. I can do without seeing some poor animal minding it own business, trying to survive in a harsh environment, only to have some goober blast his azz from a mile away. NOW if, in this vid, the gun blows up, blinds the "hunter", and the goat rams him off the cliff, I'm all in.

But I'd bet that doesn't happen.

People in the US have become too self-involved and stupid to drive in the snow. The practice needs to be banned now! Now I say, now! If we can make motorcycle riders wear helmets because we all have to pay for their medical bills why the he11 do we let everyday dumb fvcks drive in the snow.

When they eventually wreck, and they will, they get out of their car and walk away from the carnage without thinking to look for 15 ton semi's sliding toward them. Check out the group of 3 peeps just hanging in the road whilst tons of metal are sliding their way.

I kid....kinda. It'll never happen so, come on Darwin, help make sure there are fewer dummies on the social security band wagon when it's my time to collect.

I don't have a youtube account so I couldn't verify my age...but like a weirdo I read all the comments. Hopefully they went and got the goat and hauled the meat out of wherever they were.

***Oh yeah, snow...we got a few inches yesterday and it was great to be out there w/ my dog, he was friggin pumped to play in our first snow of the season.

hey seldom seen, what kind of dog is that??

I enjoyed snow as a kid,now im grumpy because I drive a piece of shyt car and I have to travel far to work, and my job only closes if its a state of emergency.kids get snow days, wish I got snow days lol.my doggy loves the snow and it cheers me up to see someone enjoying it.i wouldn't mind the snow if I didn't have to drive in it everyday and could just go snowboarding and sledding down some big hills.

heres a fun snow tale from my youth.i was waiting for my buddy to go sledding with and he was taking too long so I went by myself down a steep 90ft incline.everything was good til I got to the bottom and slammed headfirst backwards into a buried metal shopping cart that was buried in the snow and didn't budge an inch.i cracked my head open and tore a few ligaments above my knee.my leg still doesn't work right.i must of hit that cart doing 30mph atleast.and too make matters so much better,i had to climb back up the hill and walk 2 miles to my home, and after that I didn't walk for 2 weeks.dont know how ligaments work but I don't think they healed right, all I took was motrin

In the WISN 12 vid Chich provided, you first see the folks goin' along nice and slow, maintaining a safe distance between vehicles. That's good.
But then come the morons, zipping along like it's a sunny day slamming into them. What gets me is that even during and after the many pileups and all the vehicles scattered to hell and beyond, there are yet more morons trying to zip through the mess, as well the assortment of sh*theads just standing around in the highway while out of control vehicles, including big rigs, skid towards and all around them. The snow isn't the problem, its the people.

I love snow. There's a ski resort 2.5 hrs from my house and it's pretty damn good considering how little acreage it has. I go up just about any time it rains here in the valley. It's 8000 ft above sea level, so it's kind of a mini version of real big mtn terrain (cliffs, giant boulder drops, glades with massive trees, etc). It also gets massive amounts of snow; measured in feet, not inches...in el nino years it actually gets really dangerously deep (seen it get up to 12 feet in a week).

The drivers, on the other hand, suck. I can understand the excitement of wanting to get up there quick, but it puts everybody at risk, not just themselves. They think a 4-wheel drive with "snow tires" makes waking up late and speeding o.k., but it's a facade...those are the people flipped in a ditch who I pass, while I plod along at +/-25 miles an hr with chains. Wake up early and take your time.

here's a video of the typical pow day at our resort (this is not my video...those dudes are newbs):

I love snow. Especially if you have me the choice between 33 degrees and raining and 31 degrees and 3 feet of snow, give me the snow. People get old and lose sight of the nice things in life.

Also, f that guy shooting that goat. How could you kill something if you're not gonna eat it? Stupidity he shows is just as bad as the morons in the car video. Hopefully he forgets how to count to 7 when trying to grenade a deer or something.

I hate winter and snow. After living in the WV mountains and Chicago, IL, it makes me sick to think about temps near 0 and snow piled up everywhere. I love living in CHS. I don't have to deal with snow, except for that rare night every couple years. If I really miss it, I can drive 3 hrs upstate and spend a day watching that white sh1t fall from the sky.

snow is freakin awesome. usually it's the helpless city-types who hate it. nothing better then hopping in the Jeep and driving all over the place in it. I actually floated the idea of moving to Alaska over the southern states to the wife last night.

Born and raised in central WV, and my house was at the highest point in the county (6 miles from the closest town). Most of the people who love snow haven't spent 20+ years being inconvenienced by it. When you live on top of a mountain, where 2-3 ft of snow is not uncommon, you get a whole new perspective. Jeeps don't stand a chance, unless they are jacked up beyond street legal heights.
BTW, when I was in college (Morgantown, WV), I witnessed a jeep get pulled out of a snow drift with a subaru station wagon.

Love the snow...miss it...I had a seasons pass many many years ago when I lived inland and would ski twice a week. Miss it now being on the coast. It snows, tho rarely. Kinda irritates me seeing the news and it's piling up 3 hours away. Had a couple good snows here in the last 5 years, but nothing like inland.

Iam like others. Hate it being in the upper 30's and low 40's and raining, which is the norm here on the beach. Life living at the beach. Wish the temps would drop and snow, but mother ocean just keeps it warm enough to be rain 90% of the time. Need storms here to pass to the south and just far enough east to get a decent snow.

Snows an inch here, people stock pile and go ape s**t. Iam amazed how drivers are...completely flat here, driving in the snow is a piece of cake, providing good tires and a slow speed but am always amazed how many are in ditches.

Hey cep, he's a Husky/Samoyed mix on paper. But I gotta say, he's got a wild streak and I often wonder if he's got a little mix of his wild cousins in there. First time I saw him in the woods(before he was mine, this is when he was about one), he flushed out a fawn from the brush and caught it...pulled him off and the deer was fine, but it blew my mind when I saw it go down. I don't walk him off leash in the woods for this reason, he gets a long lead when we're on the trail though.

I lived in Syracuse, NY for 25 years and then west of Buffalo, NY for 5 years. I worked at a ski resort for two years. I finally decided to move south after shoveling snow off my deck on April 15th. I called a school district in NC and they told me, "The dogwoods are blooming in the piedmont."
I didn't know what a dogwood was, or for that matter, what a piedmont was, but I got in my car and drove to a teacher's job fair!
Have not snow boarded once in the 19 years I've lived in NC. Do not miss that brown, yes brown, frozen crap all over my car, driveway, boots etc.
On a strange note, We have more snow days and late arrival days in NC than I ever had teaching in NY.
No equipment to move the occasional two inches of snow that falls here.
And to everyone that drives on ice in the south: 4 WHEEL DRIVE DOES NOT MAKE YOU INVINCIBLE! WHEN YOU PUT YOUR BRAKES ON DOING SIXTY YOU ARE A NOW A SLED WITH NO MEANS OF STEERING!
