Check Jersey Shore craigslist. A guy has an ad in sporting for a found board. Dont know if thats you, but worth a look. Good luck.

Spring Lake is like the Bermuda Triangle for lost boards. I left mine there last week and it was gone in 30 minutes. I have called every surf shop, the police and left a lost board post on craigslist, no luck. Good luck finding yours, it is a ****ty feeling. By the way, I am now in the market for a new/used board…looking for a fish in the 6'6" to 6'10" range if you know of any.

Everyone may want to take a pic of their boards just in case you catch this disease that seems to be spreading rather quickly over the last few months. It's cheap insurance because once you catch the wherethefugdidmyboardgo bug, the cure runs anywhere between & $300-$250,000 depending on what parts were amputated from your quiver.

Ha I left my board in spring lake once and didn't notice until I got home, went back and it was still there. Sorry for you All that didn't have such luck, good luck with your search.

Ps I have to say I was really pissed for half the drive then not so up set when I realized I had an excuse for a new board but had it been a special board I would have been pissed, I didn't like the board much

Mpofpa, funny thing is, I surfed with you and mike in spring lake a few years ago and was so amped about one wave, and running late, I drove off with my board on the grass. But mike called me and said "hey professor you forgot your board," and I turned around and grabbed it. I berated myself the whole ride back to highlands, looking in the rear view saying "im sorry girl." Must be something in the water by breakers.

Is this just because you guys are so cold? I've heard of someone forgetting to strap a board down on their racks but never straight up leaving one.

    Good luck finding it

I once saw a stack of boards blow off a trailer on I40. heavy traffic. I had to lock up the brakes. By the time I caught up to the truck and let him know what had happened we were another 5 miles down the road.

As far as losing boards myself? No, and I don't have a problem leaving my board on the beach at CB and walking down to the pier or even going to my place to grab some more beers. A guy would have to be stalking you to have the balls to grab your board and take off with it.
