I hear ya with the measured in fear. For the most part as long as its not draining over dry reef ill give it a go. Although there have been the time or two i got a lil to stoney and couldnt sack up and paddle out. Its unnerving when theres a big telephoto lens guy on the beach snapping away. you know its serious when the pros want their pictures taken.
