I know this is a long shot, but here it goes. My nephew was driving in the Rumson area yesterday, with his Al Merrick Fred Rubble in the bed of his pick up. He realized shortly after that the gate on the back of the bed was open, and the board was gone.

He did a quick backtrack, but was nowhere to be found. Hopefully the board fell out, and one of the kind souls on the SI Forum have it in safekeeping, waiting for the owner to step forward.

    boards

short story - I had a board (and a wetty) stolen out of my truck. I asked around but I didn't care too much because I go through about 5 per year. driving home from work one day I saw it at a garage sale in someones front yard. I called the boy out and he didn't want any trouble and handed it over to me. I ratted the kid out who he bought it from. I called the Statey's and they informed me 24 hours later that the kid who supposedly stole my gear was incarcerated for 7 years. keep your eyes open but try not to get hung up over it - it's just sticks and bricks.
