Cayenne pepper is one of the most beneficial herbs out there and has some amazing healing properties that I wanted to share with everyone. If your ever sick or have a nasty smokers cough and need to get that mucous out take a teaspoon of cayenne pepper and put it in warm water and drink it 3x a day. The cayenne is a expectorant and breaks up mucous in your airways. Before a cold surf its perfect because it cleans me out and also will give you a pretty good endorphin rush since its a stimulant. I hate cayenne pepper but its not that bad to drink down real quick. I tried this after I got a pretty bad chest infection and immediately I felt better and was coughing up stuff that defiantly docent need to be in your lungs. Its a very cleansing herb and its actually purifies the blood and balances the body's pH levels. Give it a try if you don't want to ingest the bullish#t that doctors will prescribe you or some trash orc medicine.

It has hundreds of other benefits as well. Herbs are amazing and it seems most people only have discovered the power of a certain green herb. . .but you should read this as well.

ocsurf, I think the locals here were just confused because it seemed like a jackrichard post but a lot longer and with way more correct English used. Then it probably reminded them of those spam posts from months back that were geared towards beauty products. No worries brah.

And we all know how unacceptable that is to you, brah. You won't sign off on anything that doesn't have 62 primary research articles published on it, multiple patents and FDA approval. You're like Starchy Jr.!

Right. Archy believes everything posted on the internets. I am the opposite, a born skeptic. I believe many herbs and spices have some positive health benefits. However, sites claiming that the sh1t is a miracle cure just rub me the wrong way. Do you even science, braaahhhh?

I don't think it's so much the cayenne that's beneficial as it is the capsaicin.

Correct. And yes, smoked paprika is daboooomb.

If you want something good for everything from your eggs in the morning to your fish at night, get you some Lottie's Bajan Pepper Mustard, or "pepper" as they call it in Barbados...... damn, I'm now I need to make some "pie" tonight--it's been too long.

I assure you, sir jackrichard's command of the English language is sufficient to make him Docent of grammar, unlike Ocserf32, who posts in defiance of his reading disability.

    Needless, I say more.

I get it at a store downtown that specializes in hot sauces, there's another brand I think is better in Barbados called Annie's (iirc) I can't find anywhere. But Lottie's is pretty darned good anyway. This is what you're looking for:

You can get it online, but I'm confident there is a store in C-town that has it.

Here's a good recipe for "Pie," the "hot English Mustard" is the pepper sauce. I usually put closer to a tablespoon in it and still put pepper sauce on it to eat. Not healthy but f**king good.http://www.totallybarbados.com/barb...ation/Barbados_Food/Barbados_Recipes/3928.htm
