Forecast said it would be choppy all day, for the most part it was clean the wave had a little bit of warble but eh whatever. Im thinking 2014 is going to be a good year for us east coasters.
Great surf day in the afternoon in Melbourne beach. As the high tide went out the waves got clean! I had a crap load of fun and met some awesome people. One of those days where the wind is variable and there's a nice bump in the water. Wish I was a better at riding waves , I caught a few nice rides and a few caught me !
Yeah today was good down here in GA too. Choppy knee to chest was actually slightly textured waist to head. Im thinking this years gonna be a good one too.
It was good to get out early-mid afternoon off VB before the cold front starts rolling in late tomorrow. Although air temps got into the low 60s today, I saw only a few guys out. Don't know how it was at 1st St. Felt cold watching the 49ers-Packers game. Good game, but I don't know how those guys with bare arms put up with the sub-zero temps.

good today...missed yesterday with work, which was the day...ocmd today was for most part clean, with minimum texture and suprisingly nice chest high on sets in am...almost said the hell with it when I woke up figuring the wind was gonna jump on it and chop it up, but it never did most of the day...not big like yesterday but darn fun in the am...and hardly no one was out, which made it sweeter...guess to tired from yesterday. plan on shutting the shop down an hour early tomorrow...could be fun tomorrow afternoon.
Two days left till I start a new gig. Then it will be back to weekend warrior status for me. Winds look like like sh*t in my neck of the woods right now... But yes, the last two months have been nice, I lucked out time and time again with weekend swells when working my ass off, and I hope mother ocean keeps putting out. Damn that b*tch gets me worked up.
Turns out its going to pour tomorrow but I won their giveaway. The things pretty set, gets a lot of attention on the beach. Hope you get to use yours man.
