Yackee wrote "Perhaps. How does anyone know what's 'real' and what's NSA fed govt mind control output anymore?" If Brew believes it, IT has to be fact. PERIOD!
I gotta side with the HOTY on this one. We never know what's behind the veil. If you know any higher ranking career military folk, they'll laugh if you tell them what we see on the news is really what's going on. The way I see it is that if there's a political economy around it, if money is to be had or made or lost, then there's gonna be a marketing machine behind it. It's as simple as Biggie and Tupac. Really. Do you think that dual story lines of them checking out in the most valiant paths of thug life exit hurt or helped record sales? It's all a song and dance. Why? Because 80% of the public will believe what you put in front of them on face value, another 10% is too lazy to question what they may doubt, another 9% knows it's BS but doesn't care enough to act on it, and the remaining 1% of Starchy characters who smell it and want to hunt down the truth just don't have the resources and/or psychotic will to be of any threat to the smoke machine.
I'm moving there tomorrow for a few months but I'm not really thinking about it. but if i start to see creatures with more than 2 eyes ill be a little freaked out for sure...
Better than believing everything posted on the internet from random hacks. As I said, beliefs have nothing to do with it. Anyone with an IQ above 70 can easily follow the links posted in that blog and find the BS.
You don't think there is money to be lost in killing 100k+ of your own citizens? Everything that has happened in the last 50+ years is labeled as a conspiracy by the fear mongers. Every single thing. Sorry, while I know the government lies about a lot of things, I have a hard time buying into their involvement in every tragic event. The government I know is poorly organized and downright awful at keeping secrets.
If its in a blog it's fact! If actual science is involved it's mind control... Some creep hiding in his bunker in Iowa said we're all gonna die, so we're screwed.
brewengineer, can you please have a happy day for once? You'll feel better going til sundown without looking over your shoulder. Take a leap of faith now and then. If you charge HH+ waves, one of these days you're not gonna be able to bottom turn because when you hit the trough you'll be sucked up into heaven like in This Is The End. Just don't pull a James Franco and flip off Chuck and Roy on the way up because then you'll get your arse eaten by Channing Tatum. "Not that there's anything wrong with that." On the reel brah, have a great day, for once. Pretend it's the day you got back from Germany again and this time you're welcomed by a harem of wahines and non-stop drainers at your home break. Do it.
I am having a fine day, thank you. Do you think I am in a bad mood just because I call BS on a few things? As for HH+ waves, those only happen in SC a couple times a year. I would just be happy with consistent waist-high clean peelers. We were on a nice roll, then things got messy. I heard yesterday was decent, but had some other things going on that preventing me from paddling out.
Its reasonable to be cautious, but anyone can write a unsubstantiated blog post. The link above is actually pretty re-assuring that radiation levels are pretty consistent throughout the whole country and not necessarily spiking along the west coast. I'm certainly not going to be buying fish caught off of Japan, and I definitely think this is way worse then any government has lead on, but I try not to get caught up in the doomsday posts by people without any expert knowledge to really understand the impacts.
Whats also interesting about that map, as it shows all the nuclear reactors in the US. I'm glad to see that there are no nuclear reactors around the San Francisco area which is, of course, highly subjected to earthquakes. Which makes you think, why should Japan, or any earthquake prone area, be allowed to have nuclear reactors? It looks like there is at least one reactor in Southern California, which doesn't necessarily seem like the best place either (earth quake potential).
Moss Landing has one in central California. It looks pretty damn stupid sitting on the beach like it is. Stupid as in, does that super dangerous pos really need to be there?
I didn't see that on the map. Well, pretty sure Moss Landing is in the serious earthquake prone zone. Doesn't make sense... But, then again, neither does building a house on an eroding coastline or inhabiting New Orleans.
All I said was how do you know what's real & what's govt misinformation for control purposes? Same thing with the hacks who post insane conspiracy stuff on the NuttyWeb. Wasn't judging anyone. Wasn't HOTYing on anyone. Just sayin'.
