i dont know my Georgia teams find a way to lose.. look at the bulldawgs, braves, falcons.. Falcons have never won the big one, 19 years since the braves won the big one, 32 years since the dawgs won the big one.. ehhhh i guess ill continue to hear "next year" for the rest of my life.
Not every city can be Title Town Boston. It's all because of the Atlanta Flames. Your pro teams have been scorned since 1980 since you guys ran big league hockey outta town. Just collect those southern bells now and don't worry bouts no foosball.
Foosball is a very big part of a Georgia boys life.. my high school team is hitting the weights sometime soon.. i cant wait. But i will be collecting some southern bells in the meantime hahahahaha
A little late but yesterday (Saturday) was pretty good. Waist to chest high clean ones. Tide was a bit high making for some lulls but every 5 minutes or so a nice chest high wave would just peeeeeel down the beach. Wasn't that cold either, air was 4, not much wind. Iv been colder on 30 degree days. Came out of the water with ice chunks in my beard and moustache but man what a fun day.
Spicoli, "snarky" is way better than pidgin. Philly is as hard as can, and it's the best. It's the most scary place in America. Detroit's too close to Canada, and there's nobody there anymore. Plus, many of their hoods look suburban. Chicago has problems, but they have too much nice stuff there to counterbalance the gangs. Ferris Bueller came from the Chicago area. There's no Ferris Bullers coming out of Philly. Ferris would have been robbed, shot and sodomized in Philly. He sure wouldn't get away with the snarky shenaningans he pulled in the windy city, in Filthadelphia. The Temple area is just one little area in a friggin madhouse. Roxbury would be considered an ok neighborhood by Philly standards. Philly's at least 90% ghetto. Throwing out the Temple area shows no knowledge of Philly. North Philly is top of the food chain. You haven't lived until you take a West Kensington/Fairhill excursion on a July Friday night. You like salsa music? That's further east from Temple. That Curtis Sliwa dude(Guardian Angles guy) called West Kensington/Fairhill the most dangerous, entrenched open-air drug market in the country. And he's an angel who guards. Yes, it's a far cry from Mission Hill. Plus, you'd cry getting tossed out of the car in most of West Philly, most of South West Philly and aboot half of South Philly - they don't take kindly to pidgeon at 7th & Synder, or hanging under the El at 55 & Market or sashsaying down Paschal Avenue. Heck, they'd muff-you-around in Tacony or Bridesburg. Even the white boys can be scary. Don't ever disrespect Philly again. Please. I know you think Massachusetts is rough and all but.........cracker please. Philly doesn't have much, these days, except it's history and it's reputation. Don't deny them that.
Pidgin is hilarious when used purely as spoof. You need heart to be truly dangerous and the Motor City underwent cardiac arrest years back. Chicago has an inferiority complex and may never see that it just wants to be New York, Boston, and Philly. You're not coastal in Middle America. I love Philly brah. It's the closest thing to another Boston and actually has a lot of differentiation from it too that we don't have up here but would be served well with. Two months from now though we will have Yuengling again so you're just gonna have to get more creative again. Cracker please...I like that. I'm citing you as a reference material every time I use that term on way to overuse. There are some hard sectors of the USA, but if you want hardness go visit some places abroad. Cultural relativism is astounding when you see it spread itself across societies. The SI faithful would be tarred and feathered and served to spirits in the jungle before lunchtime in certain places. Enough about the world around us that we have little influence on. What are YOU doing for YOUR stoke today? We just came out of being nature's latest cryogenics experiment and today it's 52 and all the snow is gone. We've been frozen for 30 years. Are you charging today? We've got chest to shoulder windswell of the short period kind today. Are you charging? Does 52 and moist air negate the paralyzing effects of 40 degree ocean if you sport a 3/2 like GAgrommet? I'm willing to donate my body to science today. I could use a good ice cream headache and hypothermic buzz. Are you guys stoked yet? It's 2014. This year is all about raising banners. And fun. Lots of fun. btw, PB&J - after checking out the home break the other day we hit New Hammy and got pizza afterwards
I lived in jenkintown for 3 months after college...it ****ing blew.....really nice area itself, but 10 blocks from the ****.
Haha. Nice. No, I feel you. As a general NFL fan, it was an exciting day. I am a Raven's fan first and foremost, but I used to do a lot of work with all the chargers players, so I know most of them and always have a soft spot in my heart for the bolts. My company catered all of their practices and we did some charity basketball games every year. San Diego has never won a championship in any pro sport ever. Its a sad state for that fine city. I am a bitter world champion Raven's fan. I am mad at the Bengals for talking sh** about us leading up to the final week. Playing all their starters the whole game and making statements like "We want to be the reason the Ravens don't make the playoffs" so Watching the bolts smash the Begnals was awesome. But being a Ravens fan, you have to hate Jim Irsay and the bastard Colts. I was seriously hoping that Jim Irsay would have to live the rest of his life in regret for cutting Peyton Manning. The dumbest thing his family ever did was stealing the Colts in the middle of the night. Mayflower etc.... Then second was cutting one of the best players to ever suit up. I just hate their franchise. I did know Drew Brees back in the day when he was a bolt, so I didn't mind seeing him win. He is a stand up dude, for real.... So, a couple of those games just didn't go the way i wanted. Like last night too. I hate Kaepernick. He is an arrogant sh** talker. Such a d-bag in the post game interviews. Acting all coy. He was running his mouth after losing the Superbowl last year. He is just a punk. No Class. Don't want to see a guy like that win. But back to "Matty Ice". He is a quality player. No doubt. Just never in fantasy. Not to cry over spilled milk, but in my family FFB league, I had Drew Brees as my keeper, and I swear to god, somehow when the draft started, CJ Spiller was my auo-keeper pick. Brees, Manning, Brady, Rodgers and everyone else was already taken by the keeper picks from the previous year. Knowing that the Falcons are always a solid squad, especially at home, I rolled the dice with Matt Ryan. Ryan has always been a solid, winning QB, but he is a Joe Flacco type. A winner and a baller, but not a FFB numbers guy.... And then it spiraled out of control. it was one of those things every week, where I was thinking, okay, this is the week for Ryan and the Falcons. They are at home. They can't keep playing this poorly. But they did. It was just a bad year all around for them. The go to NFL team is Atlanta in this whole region. Them and the Panthers. So, every damn game is televised. And if its not them, they will air Jags games. Yeah!
Thugs from Philly won't even step foot in Baltimore. You forgot them in the big dance. Cherry Hill, east side, wetside, parkheights in the north west... google the murder map in Baltimore.... Looks about ridiculous. There is not a 2 block radius without multiple homicides across the whole town. On most years, Philly and Baltimore have murder rate in the high 200s to mid 300s, but we have 1/3 of the population, but 3 times the amount of guns and probably more dope than New York.
zach brah, Matty Ice is a Flacco type? They've got nearly identical regular season records (including this poor season by ATL) and Matty's done that not at all with an Iron Curtain like Flacco's D of recent. Compare the stats. I know stats aren't everything but those two guys are not the same. Flacco has a ring, yes, and was lights out in the postseason last year in one of the best playoff runs of all-time. He's not always come up big in big games, though. Matty is why the Falcons have even been in the hunt and as seen in the NFC Championship game last year, not even his best playoff performance can overshadow suspect D and special teams that Flacco has never had. You guys can all chill about Kaepernick. The Niners aren't winning the NFC. So you cooked food for the Chargers. Did they like fish tacos? Are you charging today zach?
First, who F El Salvador and Somalia, the "hard as can" contest was American only. We probably log more homicides than most of these places anyways besides May he go. Our poor minorities know how to create illicit empires in their urban enclaves, and we all got guns. And our drug laws created that mess down there in May he go, anyways. A few questions: Why do I have to get, "more creative again." Didn't catch that one. Also, why do you keep axing if I'm charging today? My stokes been used up. I've been doing this a long time. Friday used to be typical in the winters here once upon a time. Yeah, actually I am going out today. I'm not charging, though. I'm going to paddle out, sit around and nab a few. And appreciate Boston. It's my favorite town in the country, but's it's no Philly when it comes to crack and guns. Oh dude, just a pointer. Hit the points on the first day, not the leftover day. I used to eat pizza in New Hampshire. New Hampshire's awesome. Great place. Lovely hamlet of coastal vibe. Too many surfers these days, heck there were too many in 1996.
Baltimore is Philly's little brother, boo. You got parts of east side and west side that's rough. Philly's pretty much all rough except for the extreme NE and friggin Chestnuthill in the extreme, extreme NW. All of your shootings are in centralized areas on the east and west sides. So I assume the murder dots are HIGHLY concentrated in a few areas. AND B-more's drug trade has hit it's strides in the past 5 or 10 years, and it's where Philly was 20 years ago. Philly has recorded over 500 murders in some years when they were at the height of their drug slanging. Your Baltimore dudes are at the height of their mayhem. Philly is becoming more sophisticated and peaceful. We had a record low number of homicides this year...like, since 1960 or something. See, the Philly thug is learning that there is enough fiends to go around, and that the shooting only bring the heat. Some day they will teach Baltimore that. And your dope comes from up here. Don't fall for the media BS. NYC supplies the Northeast. It doesn't come from May he go. It comes direct from Colombia(maybe a stop in Puerto Rico or The Dominican Republic) and to ports in NY & NJ.......and a lesser amount in Boston, Philly and Baltimore. New York may have gone through social changes, but it's still the top dog of the country. It's still friggin New York.
I feel ya. I like philly. I know they get down in Philly. The most striking statistic in Baltimore is their bad aim. If you look at shooting and attempted murders, I mean they are in the 2000s. Fools in baltimore have bad aim. But they certainly drop bodies.... But, in a quick bit of research, I was dissapointed to find that Detroit is in fact still at the top of the list of major cities. Flynt Michigan is #1 due to the per capita 100000 in which they gauge the stats. There is always some strange town that has 70 murders in a year that skews the statistics... But it said even though Detroit has lost 1/2 of its residents, they still had upwards of 500 murders last year, bringing the crown back to the Canadian border. Baltimore is now #5 of the "most deadly cities" rankings. Unfortunately, Philly didn't even make the top 20 over the past few years. St. Louis and New Orleans passed us both. Those bastards. On a good note, it is nice to see that in the past 2 years, murders in baltimore dropped 10% from their 20 year average. Baltimore is a wonderful town and its a shame that it has gotten to where it is. I mean, aside from the Harbor, there is not one safe area in the entire city. Anyone that lives in that area can attest to that. Aside from little Italy, cause everybody is strapped out there.... Hampden is ghetto now. Highlandtown. Even the south side of Federal hill will get your ass shot. Canton, Fed Hill and downtown were to only "safe" areas to recreate back in my hay day, and they are all surrounded by projects on all 4 sides... Anyway, I really do hope Baltimore can resurrect itself from the 60% home vacancies in the city and all the damn crime. I mean, you can walk down pretty any street in the city and within 2 blocks you are in an open air drug market getting solicited for any thing you can imagine. Sh**, the Greyhound station downtown on Fayette, Lexington Market. Right there in the tourist area. You can hop out of the car for 30 seconds and get "served" with cops sitting and watching. Of the chicken shop on Park Avenue.... They are everywhere....
Yes, I am trying to get out of work by 3 or so and get out. its is pretty cold... for our standards... going to be in the teens tonight... But back to Ryan and Flacco. They were drafted in the same year. They have similar stats, but let me remind you why flacco got 120 million. He is the only QB in NFL History to make the playoffs his first 5 seasons. He is also the first player ever to enter 5 playoffs consecutively and win at least one game in every year. The ravens have NEVER been one and done in the playoofs with Flacco... He went to 3 AFC championship game and has one superbowl Win... He has set an astonishing amount of Rookie to present day stats. He has the most TDS of a 5 year rookie start ever in history.... The Ravens sold off the entire squad this year. We had no one. Brand new D. New Line. Pitta was out all year... It was a sh** year for us, but we blew so many games. And if we would have simply beat Cinci last week, we were in there again.... I like Matt Ryan, but when it counts, the Falcons just never make things happen in the post season. I thought in previous years, when the Falcons had home field in the dome, that they were going to the superbowl... Its not all on Matt Ryan, but I would have to say, it aint how you start, its how you finish... Ask the Bengals, they have been a solid team for 5 years. The Bengals havent won a SINGLE playoff game since 1990. So they can talk about Andy Dalton, and AJ Green and whoever else, but they are choke artists.... All that matters is tropheys and rings.... If ya aint first, your last as it were. Ya know? My investor for my restaurants is from Atlanta, so I was really pissed that you guys didn't make a run last year, because he said if it was Baltimore and Atl in the superbowl, he was taking me... That would have been epic.
Ohh and when Julio Jones went out (Yes my WR1 in FFB), I knew the season was a bust. It took Roddy White 14 weeks to show up healthy. S Jax was hurt. Other than T gon, yall were all banged up. It is what it is. Your WR 3 stepped up for a few weeks, but you could tell that Matt Ryan didnt have his 2 security blankets. Roddy and Julio. Without them, you a re a whole different squad... I love Jackson too, but he needs to be healthy to be effective.
